We stayed at this hotel to attend the Bedford Fall festival. This is a charming, historical boutique hotel. We absolutely loved it! We got the code to check in and were able to go straight to our room (no issue with the door codes like other reviews claim ). The room was clean and had everything we needed, even oatmeal and coffee to fix for breakfast. We had drinks at the bar and the bartender was friendly and fun. We had brunch at the restaurant and the food was delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful. The best part about the hotel was the decor. We had no idea this little gem was here but plan to stay again the next time we make it up to PA.

We enjoyed our one night at the Union Hotel. We didn't have much time to explore, but Everett looks to have a pleasant downtown. Friendly, helpful staff and lovely common areas. Our room was clean and comfortable, great night's sleep. The marble clad bathroom was swanky. Ice machine down the hall. A tray of continental breakfast items and coffee maker near the mini refrigerator and microwave.

What a wonderful find! I am traveling through to Johnstown and decided to stop here for a night before continuing on. I was a bit hesitant but am so glad I decided to stay here. The room has a nice bed and breakfast look and feel. The building is a historic find. I had dinner in the restaurant...it was amazing. The pretzel appetizer was one of the best ever. I am here by myself and could have eaten the whole thing. I saved some room for dinner...garlic parmesan flatiron steak pared wonderfully with the smoked honey old fashioned. The service was attentive but not oppressive. If you are traveling along the PA Turnpike between Breezewood and Bedford, The Union Hotel is definitely worth checking out! Oh...I forgot to mention the bar in the basement. Nice hideaway spot with original river rock walls. Worth checking out! Food is also served downstairs if you want something less formal. I stopped down near closing. I was there on a Monday so it wasn't crowded.

I love ild /historic hotels. I’ve stayed here before & loved it. This time we were in a 3rd floor room and there was a loud intermittent noise emanating from above the bathroom. I assume it was the elevator as it was adjacent to our room. I used a sound/ oise alp to mask the sound, the bed was comfortable, the room was clean, and very nicely appointed. The in-room coffee was awful!!! One cup was enough. The food & drinks at the bar were exceptional, as was the service. We did have trouble accessing the front door of the hotel after hours, & had it nit been for someone exiting, we would have had to use the emergency # given. The code didn’t work after *several* tries! Understand you are paying for a clean & comfortable room, and a ‘continental breakfast’ left in your room. It’s beautifully restored/updated.

Great hotel, very clean. Unexpected tray of breakfast items were waiting for us & much appreciated since we had to head out early the next morning. Would definitely stay here again.

Great stay, will be back.
Great attention to detail, many amenities that big chains have discontinued, comfortable and nicely decorated.

This was a very clean & comfortable room. We thought it was very nicely furnished & had lovely thoughtful touches like the continental breakfast. The bathroom was big & had a great shower. We had everything we needed & were quite pleased with our stay.

The hotel is a nice historic and quaint property. I stayed here for one night as I was heading East. The positives are the property and location as well as the congenial owner. The amenities were fine and the bathroom was fine. After all, this is a vintage place. The only things keeping it from the top for me was the crazy way room codes are utilized. I assume this is so the owner does not have to be on site frequently. The icing on the cake for me was that the restaurant is not open on Monday or Tuesday. I got a continental that was already in my room for the next day. There are almost no places to eat in this small town and saw a family stumbling around looking for a place for dinner and I directed them to a place across the street.

酒店回复: Thank you. I’m sorry you found the entry system frustrating. Contactless entry allows people access after hours and is preferred by the majority of our guests since 2020. We do try to inform everyone through the booking process that the kitchen is closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. This is our “weekend” to keep our staff (especially our Chef) rested and our kitchen spotless. I hope if you have the opportunity to return again, it will be on another day of the week when you can try the cuisine.

This place is a ghost town. Definitely would not stay here on a Tues or Wed. There’s no staff, restaurant and bar closed. Nowhere to eat except Sheetz gas station or old pizza joint across street. Room was nice and result of an old building renovation, which gives it character, but that was only bring spot
