Dated property no pool table which was advertised ,that area was closed off had to top the pool up every day . One good thing about the property was that it was very spacious and ideally located.

We booked a 3-bedroom villa for our family of 6, but on arrival we were given a property with only 2 bedrooms in the main house and a 3rd bedroom as a separate suite by the pool. This was completely unsuitable and unsafe for our children. We raised the issue immediately with reception, who admitted there was no alternative villa available. We were forced to leave after 2 nights, even though we had paid for 7. The stress this caused our family, including 4 young children, was unacceptable. We have written confirmation from the property that they agreed to refund the unused nights, yet weeks later we are still waiting for this to be resolved. Families should be very cautious booking this property. What was advertised was not delivered, and the lack of accountability has been extremely disappointing.

We have stayed at this resort a few times mainly in the bungalows and briefly in the villa, the location is great. We paid for our kids to have all inclusive for a week in the bungalows and they have been renovated and are really nice. The size of the Villa is good and the pool is nice as long as it is kept clean. Disliked · We rarely moan and we always make the most of our holidays which we did again but think we need to mention these for other visitors going forward. We stayed in Villa 2. These need closing down and renovating, if not just the basics of cleanliness and H&S/ security taken care of and the word 'VIP' taken out of the advertisement. Our villa wasn't VIP. It wasn't clean, floors still had sand on it, knickers found under one of the beds, still a razor in the bathroom, ants on the worktops, spiders and webs all over the downstairs toilet. It was cleaner when we left. The shower curtain kept falling off, tiles broken and falling off around the bath, bath taps falling off, bath was dirty, doors to the downstairs wouldn't even close properly, nevermind lock, plug sockets hanging off the walls. Windows and doors don't even fit or lock properly, they can so easily be broken into. I had to tighten up most of the screws in the window locks as they were hanging off. It also needs a gate to the back of the villa for security reasons. Even though we were self catering we were there for 23 days and would have thought cleaners would at least pop in to see if we needed anything, i.e clean towels or bedding etc, we did have a washer so its fine and did everything ourselves on a daily basis but just courtesy would have been nice. At first we had to ask the pool to be cleaned a few times before they started coming regularly towards mid to end of the stay. Ants appear from everywhere all in the cupboards and worktops if there is the slightest crumb left out, the toaster was disgusting. The complex itself was bad too on the pavements, it was so worn, we were sat one day and a dad was walking with his young child in a pram, wheels went in a ditch and the pram went head first with the dad almost falling on top of the pram if he hadn't have jumped!!!! and so much litter and dead leaves everywhere, just needs someone tidying this up regularly on the complex. Reception were useles. We had to ask 4 times for additional bedding and pillows, the pool to be cleaned and the outside light to be fixed. They came and fixed them three times and each time they did the following night they didn't work. We just gave up in the end. Shame as we have been here many times with some great family memories but we won't be going back.

We stayed here at the beginning of February for a week. The staff at the hotel are amazing and very friendly and helpful, however the villas are very dated and need some serious modernisation. The pool is not heated and was extremely dirty on arrival. The paint is all chipped and flaky and the maintenance guy had to top it up every day as it must be leaking. All of the doors to the property are stiff and swollen, they were scraping on the floor and difficult to open. The locks were also stiff and in need of attention. The kitchen is very dated and the appliances are boarder line safe, the microwave was rusty and the buttons were cracked, the kettle had a uk plug that had part of the insulation musing on one of the pins. The furniture is all very old and dated, it is not comfortable, mainly wooden, so no chance of lounging on the sofa in front of the TV, which you have to pay extra for if you want to watch! There is a games room in the basement with a pool table, however be aware that it is accessed via a tiled staircase and is extremely slippy and a potential hazard to young children running around. There are weeds growing all over the patio and some of the loungers were broken. There was also a barbecue outside, but this was very rusty and not really usable for health reasons. The villa is centrally located a short walk to the main town with all the restaurants and shops etc. with the beach just a little further on about a 15 to 20 minute walk in total to the beach. There are some bars and restaurants also located in a small commercial area just behind the villas about two streets back. The villa was cleaned every other day and fresh towels provided. Over priced for what you get and there are some better properties around the same location if you look for them.

We have been staying in the villas regularly over the last 20 years but we won't return again until they are refurbished. We knew they were run down so expected it but really they are no longer worth the money. We still had a relaxing stay and the cleaners as always were great but come on guys spend some money on them. We were in villa 6, the kitchen doors were hanging off the toaster was battered, top was coming off the kitchen table, the TV was very out of date, the shower pressure was terrible, the pool table was unplayable, pockets hanging off the table obviously cracked under the cloth only one cue with a tip and mismatched balls.

Loving it here i come on the 16th January 2024 me and my wife are here for 2 weeks . Love the Villas, the weather, the people and reception is really nice and friendly and would try and do what they can for you. This place is so relaxing with plenty of bars, restaurants and shops, the beach about a 8 minute walk. Everything you need is in the Villas ie toaster, kettle, utensils,tv. Booked again for April even though I am still here. The private pool is really nice also with regular maintenance. Great maid service daily or second day when they have a day off with lots of towels, you even have a Jacuzzi. Really nice people. Come here 4 or 5 times a year. Market 2 minutes away Thanks for the happy days and memories.

Me and my wife arrived last night 16th January 2024 where here for 2 weeks, the villa we go villa 4 has a very steep and long path from the gate to the door and no lighting when you get near the door ( very dangerous especially if you have had a few pints ), and very steep to walk up. My wife has Arthritis sore ankles and knees so this is very taxing on her. We went back and told Lady on reception who was nice and said villa 7 is available but needs a maid and pool cleaning so come to reception in the morning. Woke up today and went to reception who was a chubby bloke who was not very nice told us that we could not have another villa. We come here a lot to the villas 4 or 5 times a year and we have a booking for April. I always try and request a villa when iam here for next time but no one at reception can be bothered. Guess i will have to look somewhere else next time. Villa is nice and do need updating, fridge freezer is all broken inside and needs replacing. There is no wifi.One person on reception said you have to be Spanish to request a villa.

We stayed in villa 3 for 7 nights from 26th Dec and are just home. It was our first time in Caleta de Fuste and won't be our last - we loved it. The villa was perfect for our family - 2 adults a 17 and 16yr old boy and 12 Yr old girl- 3 bedrooms. The villa itself was lovely, beds comfy, cleaned regularly and the pool outside was a huge plus- we went all inclusive so food and activities were just down the road in hotel caleta dorada - Victoria at reception very helpful and nice- food was lovely but if I had to say 2 negatives I would say the meat options were limited - very little chicken and the options at the snack bar of a sandwich or hotdog were not very tasty- the madeira cakes at lunch and dinner were absolutely gorgeous though. We didn't partake in any activities in the hotel we normally went down town in the evening. Overall a brilliant holiday and we can't wait to go back.

We're just back from staying in the Villas, on booking with loveholidays we saw there was an all inclusive option and from reading reviews on TripAdvisor we saw we could choose all inclusive for a few days if we wanted. We were also looking forward to having the option of our own private pool of the large hotel pool. When we arrived we found that the actual hotel was closed for renovations and we just had the villa. ( which was fine) The Villas themselves were fine, lovely pool, lovely maids cleaned Villas every 2nd day, lovely pool guy cleaned pool every 2nd day. Villas are a little dated and look a little old but besides that the Villas are great. Overall we had a decent stay, Villa did what we need for a family of 5 with 3 teenage girls. Would go back to Villa again if we had option of also using hotel ( which is why we booked these villas in the first place )
