Have stayed at the St Louis on a couple of occasions when Le Mans Classic has been on with our Morgan car club. Parking in the village square in front of the hotel is perfectly safe to leave our classic cars. The locals are very friendly and respected our cars. The hotel definitely appears to have recently been refurbished. Our room was lovely and has clearly been renovated and overlooked the village square. Lovely to enjoy an aperitif in front of the hotel under the sunshades before dinner. The food was excellent in the restaurant. Even though they had to cater for a full hotel of Morgan owners, the quality of food was at its best. Their homemade Rillettes cannot be beaten and every dish we had during our 5 night stay was top class. The staff worked very hard (bearing in mind the staffing difficulties in France post-Covid), they managed the reception, bar and restaurant efficiently and were so friendly. So we cannot fault the hotel. Breakfast was good with a nice selection of croissants, various yoghurts/fromage blanc, cheese and ham, fresh fruit juices etc… and the coffee is good too. This was all served in the conservatory which was lovely overlooking the village church. So all in all, cannot recommend this place highly enough.

The room was good, restaurant and bar were completely closed at 2100 hours so when we went to the restaurant we were not offered coffee as it was approaching closing. One female member of staff was very rude when at 2115 we asked if there was anywhere we could get a drink she just said “I don’t know “. We were there 3 nights and I would certainly have chosen somewhere else had I known the hotels shut early policy.
