Lovely hotel on a mountain top. This time of year is very quiet for them, so there is just a self-check-in. You really only see the staff attendant at breakfast, so if you have questions that is the time to ask them. Otherwise you are on your own. The room itself was lovely with a very comfortable bed. Perhaps if you were a female traveler on your own this time of year you may feel a little intimidated because there is no staff on site, but the area itself is very safe. Loved waking up to a view of the Burgenland hilly countryside, so lovely. Good restaurants in the surrounding area, generally less than a ten minute drive. The roads to the hotel are narrow and steep, so if there is snow or ice you would want to make sure you have good winter tires.

Excellent hotel. Rooms are very comfortable and clean. Personal friendly and helpful. The breakfast was the best part.... we would really recommend it. Would stay again without a doubt
