You had selected one of our standard rooms, which differs slightly from our kitchenette rooms. In the standard rooms, a dedicated water receptacle is provided in your fridge for drinking water and for filling the kettle, whereas our other room types include a separate kitchen sink. We have checked, and can confirm that the water receptacle in your room was in place and filled with fresh drinking water.As our rooms are serviced daily, any used coffee cups — as was the case during your 1 night stay — are collected and cleaned in our commercial kitchen, so guests are not expected to wash their own dishes. That said, we do provide a small cleaning kit (including a new scourer and dishwashing liquid) for guests who prefer to rinse their own items. This is located in the same cupboard right next to where your coffee cups were stored.Our room layout and amenities are consistent with standard motel practice across Australia, and we take great pride in maintaining high cleanliness standards, something many guests have kindly noted in their reviews.We sincerely appreciate your comments, as they help us ensure we continue to meet and exceed our guests’ expectations.
