Hotel needs to be updated I get they probably want to preserve it since it is an old hotel window literally could feel the cold coming in the vent on the ceiling was repaired never painted. Parking $10 per night in the back of hotel no security all dirt with gravel homeless hanging around out back. This morning as we left the hotel a man came running into the parking lot very scary. The room was so small had such limited space to move around. Worse part is we paid for the room assuming it would be a very nice hotel the name La Fonda has a reputation about being a nice expensive hotel it was not that at all. When checking in police were in the lobby an employee cursing words very unprofessional at the gentleman the police were speaking too. Room 207 the TV was not even working the front desk gentleman said I have to fix it everyday doesn't sound right. Step into restroom is very dangerous very outdated furniture which is good but not kept up with the carpet has to go light tan stains & could tell it was old too. It was unfortunate but for sure we will not be returning Sage Brush is beautiful comparing to La Fonda. After checking in we we're even afraid to stay but unfortunately we booked through ******* & it was a non refundable or we would have left & rented another room elsewhere. We are writing hoping it gets to the owner old furniture is beautiful if it is maintained & kept up.

The photos were genius compared to the cramped room. Even the placement of the furniture worked against functionality let alone comfort.
Most disturbing was the step up into the bathroom. we left the light on all night lest we miss it and wind up face down on the tile. At least highlight it so it is visible. Also the toilet seat was broken. The mattress was like cardboard. A sad place relying on history...

Love the location on the square for walking everywhere, coffee bar downstairs comfortable bed and Murphy bed! Staff is super helpful love that I can sleep w windows open at night! Beautiful old historic hotel!

The hotel is beautiful and very clean. The rooms all had unique character. The bed was very comfortable and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend this hotel!

This hotel is right on the square, which is very nice for shopping and relaxing. The front desk person, mary, was extraordinary, and very accommodating and friendly. As far as the room, we were very disappointed in the size. Our room (410) was super tiny! There wasn't enough room to even open our suitcase! However, it was very close to the elevator, which took you to the first floor close to the back door where there is a wonderful patio that is lit up at night. And the parking is just steps away from the patio. Other than the room size, or stay was very nice, and the people were very friendly.

Location is great. We could walk everywhere. Somewhat trashy outside but maybe city's fault. Room was clean but could use some updating and paint.

Charging 10 dollars for parking in Taos is just a quick cash grab. Didn’t realize there was a parking charge until I got there. The front desk lady was nice but couldn’t waive the fee since I went through *******. The bathroom layout was really inconvenient too. Bed was comfy though. If I go back to Taos, I would likely search for another hotel.

La Fonda 是广场的中心。门外就有餐饮和购物场所。可惜的是，他们现在正在重建广场上的凉亭，所以很吵，也很不雅观。看来必须重建了。停车费是每天10美元。房间还算宽敞，也比较现代。如果能提供过滤水就更好了。房间里有咖啡机。水请自备。
前台的工作人员可能是新来的，遇到了一些麻烦。晚上的前台工作人员更乐于助人。
历史悠久的酒店，装饰精美，保留了原有的特色。
