Giving you Extra Star just for efforts of GM who tried to satisfy us & for the restaurant staff's effort. First of all the reception staff's behaviour was not professional at all, bcz as soon as I checked in I requested for better room and with upgrade if available as Accor Gold Member they denied it by saying that due to full occupancy by the way they are lying as there was no other guests that day only us. Next thing I have asked for welcome drink vouchers as Accor Gold Member that request also denied by them after showing them written benefits of Gold Member they provide us welcome drink vouchers which was very awkward. After seen the room they first provide I didn't like bcz there was a only electric pool view from the balcony, Small old TV & also the room was not that which I have booked After some time some manager came and provide us new room as per my booking During whole stay staff was working for next day's wedding arrangements which was very disturbing like noisy & smelly they were cleaning floor just out side our room door with some liquid like acid which was smelling very bad, WiFi was not working in the room some how which was fixed by reception staff at night. Although I like the property but proper hospitality was missing. At the end there wifi was not working during check out time due to that there system not working I couldn't burn my Accor points and have to pay in currency, And I thought it was bcz of me I couldn't receive OTP but in next stays in Accor hotels in goa I did it smoothly. I just appreciate the room change effort by the manager & special thanks to restaurant staff who surprised my child next morning in breakfast with pastries as there was no buffet breakfast as no other guests was there.

My family and I spent six wonderful days at this beautiful resort tucked away on Divar Island — truly a well-kept Goan secret. The island is peaceful and scenic, accessible only by ferry, which adds to its charm. The rooms are spotless and comfortable, and though the pool was under repair during our stay, the resort’s serenity and views more than made up for it. Bring a bicycle if you can — riding around the island (or even to Panjim) is a highlight! The resort has e-bikes too, though there are just two, so grab them early. What makes Mercure Devaya truly special is the people. The staff go above and beyond with warmth and care that makes you feel at home: From Dining: Ashish Singh, Priyanka (thank you for your homemade khadaa!), Sankhadip (for lovely conversations), and Chefs Gajendra, Aarush, and Godhan — every meal was a delight. From the Front Office: Christy, Sheena, George, and Swapnil — always smiling and helpful. From Activities: Anuj and Sanisha — thanks for the cycling tips and local insights, carrom and table tennis games. From Service: Rini and Hlutei — cheerful and attentive. From Sales: Vinod and Srivats — you have the easiest job selling such a beautiful place! A few others - Lactor and Mr. Joe - also made our stay memorable. From the moment we arrived at Mercure Goa Devaaya Resort, we were greeted with smiles, greetings & pleasant exchanges that made as feel comfortable and relaxed. We were taken care of personally by Nilesh, the front office manager whose attention to detail made him notice that I wasn't eating the cookies that we were served. On realising that I was gluten intolerant, he ***** with Chef Arush organized and assured me that alternatives were available to suit my dietary requirements. The resort is beautiful, surrounded by water and verdant greenery. We thoroughly enjoyed walking through the gardens and identifying the variety of plants growing there. The rooms were immaculately clean and tastefully decorated. For a germaphobe like me, the cleanliness was a treat! The housekeeping staff treated us to a beautiful display on the bedcovers. We were impressed. This overnight trip ended in us leaving relaxed & rejuvenated, ready to take on the world.

We arrived yesterday afternoon at the resort was greeted by friendly staff of the hotel who wasted no time in registering us and taking care of our luggage . Front office manager , Nilesh Noronha, even though he was very busy , took the time to show us around . This is a beautiful property situated on the banks of the Mandovi river, with lush lawns , waterfalls and wall art and clay and stone figurines dotting the landscape . We stayed at the cottage which was spacious with a balcony with views of the property .The food was delicious prepared by chef Aarish and his talented staff . A must visit to experience the tranquil village life and legendary Goan hospitality.

Our stay here was excellent !The staff were extremely courteous and welcoming, The room was spotless and comfortable , and well-equipped with everything needed. I really appreciated the small touches and the genuine care shown towards guests. A perfect blend of comfort and hospitality—definitely a place I’d love to return to! A special thank you to Nilesh for your thoughtfulness . You made sure that we were well looked after ! Highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and memorable experience amidst nature !

Stunning grounds, beautiful Indo-Portuguese style buildings and gorgeous location on Divar island. A special place to come with our toddler - so many green spaces for her to potter around safely, a playground, beautiful plants and flowers to admire, Christmas lights and decorations, gorgeous pool with kids area etc. The staff were really friendly and welcoming with her. Thank you. We loved the mangrove safari at sunset and exploring the island and village together. High tea was a highlight for us all but we’d prefer no music so you could enjoy the sound of the birds singing, slightly odd song choices at times too e.g. Living Next Door to Alice” with swear words. Our room was really lovely and comfortable but we found the outdoor seating uncomfortable and would have valued some cushions, didn’t quite fit the high quality luxury spec of the room. Also would appreciate somewhere we could refill water more easily given the heat instead of having to call house keeping each time. Seemed a bit strange handing out 200 ml plastic bottles at high tea too, surely a more suitstanable solution could be found. Overall however a really lovely stay, a very special location which we feel lucky to have discovered and we hope to return.

Wonderful experience overall. The staff is very polite and helpful. Room is spacious. Vinod during accomodation booking was very resourceful and helped a lot. The fishing area near the river was peaceful and overall vibes are good. Sankhadip at Paani Pourri was extremely friendly. Overall 5 star.

The approach to this resort is via a public ferry from the mainland separated by Mandovi River as it is on an island. The resort is very beautiful and developed on quite a big area. The landscaping on the property is quite impressive too. They have Villas and apartments for you to choose. The rooms are big and nice with all facilities that you expect from a 4 star resort. The housekeeping staff was efficient but Front Office staff lagged behind. The restaurant serves delicious food and the choices in the buffet is quite good too. My only disappointment is that this property was very empty, devoid of guests in the month of March and is not meant for someone like me who would like to see fellow guests around when you leave your room or in a common area. For people who want to totally cut off from everything, this resort might cut in. After 2 days of stay, I shifted to another hotel on the mainland.

So basically We went for our daughter first bday celebration. We wanted it intimate. The location , area , staff & hospitality was out of this world. I want to mention 2 names. Mr Shriniwas Kulkarni & Mr Ashish Rajput. They both are the best personnel at the site. Mr ashish from the restaurant & Mr Kulkarni ji was with us throughout the stay and assisted us eith everything. Loved the place
