Excellent location. Walking distance of all the must see attractions and experiences Dublin has to offer. The bar is a wonderful traditional Irish bar serving great food. Rooms are so comfortable and clean. Staff so friendly. Exceptional for the price. Would highly recommend.

A very friendly and relaxed place with a great selection of food and beer. The bartender really knew his craft and served a perfect pint. It felt like a genuine local spot, with plenty of Dubliners enjoying their evening. A great stop for anyone looking for an authentic pub experience.

Our reception at the pub was friendly and prompt. Located within a few minutes' walk of the Temple Bar and Trinity College area, with many buses stopping in the one-way Pearse street, as well as the Dart train station just 5 minutes down the street, were all most convenient. The rooms are situated on 1st or 2nd floor above the pub (no lift). The tea and coffee provided, as well as the fridge in the attractive dining room, were very welcome, with a lovely outlook on the street. Delicious breakfast pastries were available at Bread 41 next door, so there is a definite saving on eating breakfast out. Our room next to the dining room was spacious, the carpet and bathroom spotless. Daily cleaning was done. The noise of the street was not heard when the windows were shut. The beds were comfortable. Having an amazing 18th-century pub downstairs for food and drinks was great. Staying in the historical Michael Collins room was an added bonus! I would definitely stay at O'Neill's if ever visiting Dublin again.

What a great stay. I wasn't sure what to expect with the rooms being over a busy pub, but I had a fantastic 2-night stay. My room was huge and the bed was super comfy. When I checked in, the room was very warm, and when I informed the guys in the bar they let me know that the heat is on a timer and would be off at 11pm which was just enough time for me to enjoy a glass of wine at the bar :) There is no breakfast but there is a lovely big room where you can avail of free tea and coffee, and there are loads of cafes and coffee shops nearby. I slept really well considering it's on a busy street over a popular bar - I heard nothing at all. The price is really good for this location and I will definitely be staying again!

Brilliant location to the city centre and real value for money. Communication was good with the pub as we were checking in on a Monday (when they are closed) good easy access. We stayed in a triple bed room which was really clean and spacious. Coffee and tea was always available from the shared kitchen, which was a nice touch. We spoke to Deidra, as we has a ticket to Q-Park Setanna, which we needed verifying, she was so helpful and friendly. We had a great breakfast at the Trinity City Hotel just down the road from the pub, which was a bargain for €20 each. Thanks for a lovely stay.

What a great place to stay in Dublin! It is so close to everything! We could easily walk to the downtown area to catch a hop-on, hop-off bus or to the Temple bar area with the many restaurants and pubs. The rooms are very clean and cozy. Dee was so friendly and helpful with anything we needed. Make sure you try the croissants at Bread 41 that is about a half a block away - you won't be disappointed! So glad we chose to stay here while in Dublin!
