I was travelling by car from Roscoff port to Geneva with my 2 dogs & needed to have an overnight stay in France to break up the very long journey. I had booked a budget hotel in nearby Romarantin but decided the day before to seek an alternative with an onsite restaurant. I came upon this absolute gem & booked it immediately. Considering the price I was unsure how it would work out. It was wonderful! My room was in an annex off the courtyard and, while small, was perfect for us. There was no air conditioning but there was a fan, much needed in the very high temperatures. I had dinner in the excellent onsite restaurant & it was just perfect after a long, exhausting drive. Breakfast, while basic, was plentiful and perfect to set me up for a second long day of driving. So happy I made the late decision to cancel my other booking!

Beautiful old property with magnificent wooden beams and pretty courtyard at the rear. Very friendly and helpful host. Superb food - dinner and breakfast. Comfortable bedrooms. Good, safe private parking. Sad we could only stay for one night as we had plans already to move on but will remember this place for the future

Dans un petit village une auberge où l’on est très bien accueilli Il n’y avait pas beaucoup de clients mais cependant nous n’avons pas eu la sensation de déranger. Ils étaient là pour nous et c’est agréable. Chambre au rez- de jardin. Le seul problème c’est que nous ne pouvions ouvrir les rideaux sans être vu. Un voilage aurait été sympa pour nous protéger des regards éventuels. La table était très bonne. Chef au top. Menu top. Plats top. Et l’apprenti pâtissier nous a fait des top desserts et des top viennoiseries pour notre petit déjeuner Franchement une très belle découverte.

Un service de qualité. Accueil chaleureux ;Personnel sympathique et à l'écoute .Chambre très propre . Locaux et décoration impeccables .Restauration goûteuse et soignée. Nous recommandons cet établissement.
