I am writing to express my significant dissatisfaction with certain aspects of my stay at Hotel Centurion, particularly concerning the misleading advertisement and subsequent handling of the swimming pool facilities. Upon booking, the hotel's prominent advertising of a swimming pool was a key factor in my decision. However, it was only upon arrival that I discovered an additional fee is required to use this amenity. This undisclosed charge is deceptive and feels like a bait-and-switch tactic, which is unacceptable for a hotel of your supposed standard. My frustration was further compounded when I purchased a full-day pool ticket. I was explicitly informed that I could enter and exit the pool area freely throughout the day. Yet, upon attempting to re-enter, I was abruptly told that I should have notified the staff of my intention to leave in advance. This crucial information was never communicated to me at the time of purchase, leading to unnecessary inconvenience and a feeling of being misled. Compounding this issue, the ticket attendant's behavior was profoundly unprofessional and disrespectful. During our discussion, which I conducted in English, she proceeded to make disparaging remarks about me in German to other customers in the queue, all while they clearly found amusement in the situation. As a non-German speaker, it was deeply insulting and humiliating to be the subject of ridicule in a language I do not understand, especially when the interaction was clearly negative. This conduct is utterly unacceptable and reflects poorly on your staff and the hotel's commitment to customer service. On a more positive note, I would like to acknowledge that the room itself was satisfactory and well-maintained. Furthermore, the service received from the reception and restaurant staff was excellent. The restaurant staff were particularly amiable, and while the food was inexpensive, its quality left much to be desired. Despite the positive aspects of the room and the reception/restaurant service, the deceptive advertising regarding the pool and the highly disrespectful conduct of the pool ticket attendant have significantly marred my experience. I trust that you will address these serious concerns promptly to prevent other guests from enduring similar frustrations. Sincerely, Christian Nielsen

酒店回复: Dear Mr. Nielsen, Thank you very much for your detailed feedback regarding your stay at Hotel Centurio. We sincerely regret that there were misunderstandings and dissatisfaction concerning access to the Limes-Therme, and we would like to address the points you raised. First and foremost, we consider it self-evident that entry to a nearby public thermal spa cannot be fully included in a hotel’s overnight rate. This is not only the case with us but is standard practice in virtually all hotels with access to external spa or thermal facilities. As such, we do not actively advertise the spa as being entirely included in the rate. If this impression arose during your booking process, we regret the misunderstanding. However, we firmly reject the suggestion that our advertising is in any way intentionally misleading or deceptive. With regard to the situation concerning re-entry into the Limes-Therme, we find it difficult to believe that any of our staff informed you that you could enter and exit the spa freely throughout the day. Our front desk team usually points out that the terms of admission are determined exclusively by the spa staff, and that we have no influence over their procedures. According to the Limes-Therme, you were ultimately given the opportunity to re-enter the facility after a clarifying discussion. However, they informed us that you declined this offer in a state of agitation. We are genuinely sorry that you felt treated unprofessionally during the interaction, though we must clarify that the thermal spa is an independently operated business and outside of our area of responsibility. That said, we are very pleased to hear that you were satisfied with your room and especially appreciated the service provided by our reception and restaurant teams. We will gladly share your positive comments with our staff. Thank you once again for your candid feedback. Despite the unfortunate issues raised, we would be happy to welcome you again at a future time. Kind regards Daniel Eisenschenk Hotel Management

We started our stay very poorly
The hotel was okay, but some of the staff were really bad.
We started our stay very poorly, with a very grumpy and unfriendly reception at 5:30 PM.
We practically had the keys thrown at us and couldn't get directions to our room, nor was there any guidance about the hotel's facilities, etc.
We had been looking forward to a swim, but we never managed to find the pool due to a lack of guidance.
The same grumpy person was at breakfast, where we were again greeted by the same scowling person. We could see that German guests were treated well; it seemed a bit like she didn't like us because we were from abroad.
On the positive side, the receptionist who checked us out was friendly and accommodating.
But it was a little late, and we didn't get much out of our stay.
