Room was a bit dated…. Beds were definitely worn down… no microwave in room… we were thrilled to see a coffee maker, but it turned out not to work. I requested another one… it too, was broken! Staff didn’t ask us whether we got the coffee pot or anything about it. Didn’t even ask how our stay was. We went to go use the pool and it too was closed… maintenance… this was not mentioned on the website, nor at check in… the only saving grace was Wanda in the Alcock and Brown restaurant!! She was amazing and very kind! She made us feel like family and not hotel patrons! This hotel needs some updating… we left disillusioned…

clean. Although breakfast came with the room, it was limited in scope. Walkable to downtown.

Need More fruit at buffet,more cereal options , more options in general at buffet
In our travels across Canada and Newfoundland this hotel had the most unappealing buffet
Rooms were adequate.

Friendly staff during the day, particularly in the morning breakfast and evening dining room. No answer to three calls to the front desk between 10:00 pm and 11:30 pm when the hallway outside our room was very noisy with young people interacting.

After tye furst night I was very satisfied. Unfortunately, on the second night much of the hotel was occupied by children (aged approx 8 to 12) and their parents/coaches for a sports event. Sadly, the 'responsible adults' allowed their charges to run around the corridors until 11.30pm. I have led many school and youth group trips with children aged 11 to 18 to everything from campsites to 4-star hotels, we set clear rules in areas where they were likely to interact with the public. They were made well aware of the consequences of complaints or disrespectful behaviour. It's a shame that no-one took charge of this situation last night. I also didn't appreciate the smell of pot drifting up through the air con vents from the outside social area.

Very convenient location to shopping, sights, restaurants and the highway.
Front desk staff were very accommodating and friendly and letting us know everything that was included with our stay.
