A nice country escape from crowded Rockies town. Comfortable cabins. No sounds of highway or trains. Near enough to Golden to go out for dinner. Yoho is less than an hour way. Very nice welcoming hosts. I recommend the breakfast - big and diverse the way bed and breakfasts ought to be. Reasonable prices. Great to have a kitchen and a barbecue to cook in evenings.

We came to golden after 2 days of hard hiking and we got the perfect reward - the most welcoming owner Doris and her family, and a nice, clean, warm wooden cabin, which had 2 bedrooms and one sofa-bed - exactly what we needed. The living room was quite large, the kitchen was equipped and if we needed anything else Doris was glad to help. The town of Golden was great to wander especially on a rainy day. To sum it up - an amazing country-side homey cabin

A very lovely, relaxing evening and night in this lodge during our 2 week RV trip in Canada, after we were unable to secure a campsite for 1 night, so had to find a hotel or motel. Clean, comfortable and a beautiful lodge. Great nights sleep 💤. Lovely owners. Thank you.
