We really enjoyed our time here. What a great place to stay. A life sized chess board, game room and very affordable laundry facilities made it worth every penny! If we make it out this way again, this will be our first choice!

The Retro Inn was a fun experience! We stayed in the Woodstock room with the waterbeds. While not all that comfortable for the adults (I don’t know why those things were ever popular), the kids LOVED the experience. The themed room was fun and authentic with lava lamps and black light la and glowing art. The room was very clean and spacious. If you are ever driving through Cortez, I would definitely recommend The Retro Inn. Also, eat at nearby La Casita de Cortez.

Very clean, friendly staff, quiet. They had the road conditions printed up and on the tables at breakfast which was super helpful. The property was really cute!

The staff are all trying very hard. You can feel it in the atmosphere. Its a fun place offering several games and activities. Even though they are older and "retro" the rooms were very clean. We will stay here agsin.

Staff was friendly. Atmosphere was . . . Interesting in a very very good way.
It both feels like you are stepping into a hotel built in 70s but as soon as you feel the beds or the water pressure. Or click on the tv you realize it's all supposed to be that way.

All the staff were very friendly and able to address my requests. The room and common areas were very clean. The shower in the room had great presure.

Loved the themed rooms! Quiet, clean, great water pressure in shower! The gorunds were well kept and the area seemed safe.

This place is is way cool. Very low key and local. If you are traveling with pets it is optimal for the price point. Staff excellent! Typical continental breakfast. Older, but CLEAN. Simply ask for a theme. We were in Marilyn Monroe room. Quirky and fun.
