We’ve stayed on the estate over 30 times now and we are never disappointed. The accommodation is stunning and the landscape is breathtaking. Staff are always so friendly and welcoming too!

Five Star Stay!! Phenomenal location, The Gallops what beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean, spacious, comfortable and had everything you could possibly need. Excellent value for money for accommodating and in the restaurant. Friendly welcoming staff serving delicious food in a relaxed atmosphere.

Mains of Taymouth is our happy place. This time we stayed in 3 Gallops and it brought back memories of when the site was developed and it was a show house. We will be back in 2026.

Wonderful family time returning to the Granary Cottage. However, disappointed it is becoming tired inside and items we raised a year ago still not repaired. Fabulous location and staff as pleasant and helpful as ever. The Crannog and Karellia House superb to visit.

We had a fantastic family get together after New Year and loved it. Despite the -3degrees weather the lodge was extremely cosy and had all the facilities we need. The site is amazing with a great deli, bar and restaurant and a special thank you to the Reception Tram at Mains if Taymouth who could not have been more helpful and friendly

Excellent location, lots of space with 3 bedrooms all en suite and large open plan living dining kitchen area, everything you need all available on your doorstep, wee shop, pub and local activities. Hot tub was immaculate and lovely in the cold and snow. Nice and quiet. WiFi was a bit sporadic.

Have been going to Mains of Taymouth for many years and vary the lodge we choose. The Stables was this years choice and needs to have the tiredness of the property addressed. Soft furnishings and stool in the lounge and dining table spring to mind. Chairs are fine. Also the t towels were a disgrace, need the bin. Luckily we bring our own along. Hopefully these very few things will be sorted by next December, because we like the Stables Lodge we have rebooked already. Very peaceful break and when the roaring fire is up and running, so cosy.
