What a great spacious park. Amazing pool and kids playground. Cabin was modern and well fitted out. Very well maintained older park.

Disappointed Driving passed looks alright But inside is a different story stayed for 3 nights over Xmas 1. Not well maintained camping spots for vans not mowed, weeds and prickles everywhere Dead branches on trees not taken care of 2. Pool grass areas are more dirt and burrs then grass palm leaves everywhere broken poolside seating and no shade whatsoever 3. Kids playground area climbing wall is falling apart and rotted and the playground set is not secured to the ground and is coming apart from missing bolts and very over grown Should be taped off form kids

This place was so nice in the past but now: *) The pool is filthy - in some areas alleges on the ground - SLIPPERY *) Cover for the drain missing *) Not a single sun umbrella anymore - plenty have been there in the past *) The whole environment is not maintained at all - rubbish laying around, knee high grass, palm leaves en mass *) The rest of the area is not maintained either *) Grass not mowed for ages *) Tree branches all across - even on concrete slaps designed to camp *) Cleaners in Toilettes - not on a daily basis..... Only one word = DISAPPOINTING!

We recently stayed 3 nights ( Wed - Sat ) in Cabin #16 Oasis ??... This is anything but an Oasis! Dirt & leaves, dead grass & weeds. Seen green grass out in Winton. We arrived checked in everything seemed okay until... we walked up the steps & in the door. Floor was dirty, lightshades were full off insects, most light bulbs in ceiling lights were blown, ranghood light bulb was blown, inside & out was dirty, ANTS inside the Cabin, there was Rubbish left on the Balcony from the previous guests. There is no excuse for dirty accommodation & things not working! The TV wouldn't work, Husband went to the office Wednesday afternoon & reported this to the Manager Jane, who suggested to my husband turn the TV off unplug it then plug it back in & turn it on & retune it! He later rang you when the TV still wasn't any good, saying everything should be clean & working. ( the manager Jane offered to move us to another Cabin after we had unpacked everything ) you then brought over another TV cable from another Cabin Wednesday afternoon, my wife was sitting on the Balcony when you brought this over. You did not come and fix any mess, like you claimed in your response to my Google review. Seems you have selective memory! When you came to Cabin #16 FRIDAY morning to collect the spare TV cable you brought over Wednesday afternoon, my Husband asked you about the Bins, he then told you... The bin in the BBQ area is overflowing with Rubbish, if the bins got emptied daily or as needed like you claim, it wouldn't have been overflowing. Your husband Jason then emptied it around mid-morning FRIDAY! The grounds are a Pig sty, the pool fence is just bird netting, the children's playground area is just dirt with fallen tree branches and rubbish. I grew up in North QLD so I know exactly what it is like, & how dry it gets... plenty of water comes out of the Burdekin Dam to water the grass each day. When the manager was told about the lights not working & it was suggested the cleaners should be checking things, her response was... the cleaners don't turn the lights on to clean, we only know if bulbs are blown if the guest says. ✨️You can't clean in the dark! The park & Cabins could be really nice with some care. It seems to me you have no regard for what people are telling you in the reviews. We will never be back or recommend!

The grounds are a pig-sty, the rubbish bin out from our Cabin #16 in the BBQ area was overflowing with rubbish (so the bins don't get emptied every day) it only got emptied Friday after my husband mentioned it to Manager, the children's playground is just dirt with fallen tree branches & rubbish. When the manager was told about the lights not working & it was suggested the cleaners should be checking things, her response was... cleaners don't turn the lights on to clean, we only know if bulbs are blown if the guest says. The park & Cabins could be really nice with some care. We will never be back or recommend

We booked a two bedroom cabin for two nights. It had everything we could need and was comfortable and clean, with a lovely verandah and outdoor setting where we enjoyed a few cuppas. The tariff was very reasonable, the lady in reception was nice and we enjoyed our couple of days in this beautiful town.

Stayed at the same park about 10 years ago for a couple of days whilst heading north and found the park to be a little on the weary side this time. Broken and cracked chairs in the pool area and the gardens needing bit of TLC. That said the sites are big and well spread out and the amenities clean. Pizza night was a nice option but yet again the area needed a good clean. All in all it wasn’t a bad experience just missing something from the first.
不错的公园。游泳池很不错，有儿童游乐场和攀岩墙。营地厨房设施齐全。场地可以开车，所以进出都还不错。我唯一不满的是男士便利设施中只有 3 个厕所，似乎不多。还有几个人在营地厨房大声喧哗并吸烟，但这不是公园的错。仍然会推荐。
Charters Towers Big 4 是一个宽敞的旅行车公园。公园的某些区域看起来有些破旧，这让人失望。我住过的小屋也有同样的问题，我觉得这让这个公园失去了真正好的旅行车公园的魅力。它位于主干道上，但这并不影响晚上的睡眠。
非常宽敞的露营地。设施不错。露营厨房还行，水槽里的冷热水龙头是分开的，所以你不能用“温水”洗漱，这不太实用。洗衣房很好，有很多晾衣绳可以使用。
