We are always reachable through our phone number as it's directly forwarded to someone at all times. If you do not wish to speak with someone, please leave a voicemail and we will address the situation. We understand some people do not like confrontation and would like to offer them ways to express discomfort or concerns in ways that feel less confrontational.We are always available even when not on the property and we let everyone know this at check in; it is in a welcome letter if someone is arriving after closing. We are unsure of what appliances you speak of outside the room. If you could let us know that would be very helpful. The houses are ours as we mentioned at check-in. They are vacation rental homes. The whole property is the hotel property except one light blue house. The flooring is installed on pads, the rooms are cement, the kitchen is double padded, that may be what you were feeling so there is no possibility of water damage. We will address these concerns and address other ways to approach the flooring. We are sorry you were disappointed with the upkeep. We are on it every single day as we are located on a lakebed. We apologize it was not up to standard. The cleaning lady knocked on the door to ask if you were staying an extra night as it was 30 minutes passed check-out. They did not mean to disturb, they were simply following protocol. We understand that this experience has left you not wanting to stay again, but we assure you our stays are generally not in disfavor and would like to offer you a chance to stay with us again in the future.
