My wife and I stayed for 9 nights in this delightful and professionally managed hotel. We occupied Apartment E1 on the ground floor. It consists of an entrance vestibule with a separate inner door leading to the open plan kitchen and sitting room. A separate bedroom was to the rear, the bathroom with a spacious shower stall on the side and a little patio with two garden chairs and tables to the front, facing the large garden and river. All the facilities were very clean and fully stocked with glass ware, crockeries, cutleries and cooking pots as well as a small dish washing machine, electric kettle, filter coffee machine, toaster and two ring electric counter top cooking range and fridge. The owner also provided some basic condiments like salt and pepper and sugar as well as dish washing liquid. The apartment was tastefullly furnished with solid wood furniture consisting of a dining table for 4, pull out settee and leather easy chair, armoir and shelves. The bedroom had a big wardrobe and very comfortable beds and bedding. There is plenty of storage space. There was a big screen TV with plenty of German and English language channels in the sitting room, a digital radio in the bedroom and small stereo system in the sitting room. We rented the unit as a “Ferienwohnung” or holiday apartment without cleaning service and breakfast and did not use any of the leisure facilities in the basement. The under floor heating was very efficient and kept the apartment cosily warm in late October when temperatures dropped as low as 3C during the night. We very much enjoyed our stay and have no hesitation in recommending the Anger Residenz. We would definitely return. Thank you Mr Hesse, for a wonderful stay.
