We stayed in the pods and had a lovely cosy night's sleep here with our dogs. On arrival we saw the pods were basically in the car park and were a little worried about noise but we needn't have worried, it was so peaceful. The location is brilliant, the staff were friendly and the atmosphere was great. Nice pubs, walks and restaurants locally. We had breakfast in the morning too and it was plentiful and great value. We always enjoy a YHA breakfast but this one was hot and fresh (sometimes they are a little lukewarm). Would recommend staying here if in the area!

Lovely hostel in beautiful grounds. Fabulous location in Malham. The room was clean, well maintained & reasonably priced. Staff were friendly & efficient. Only pizzas available in the evening which was fine as we only stayed one night, but would be nice to have more choice of food. Thanks for a great stay!

Helpful and flexible with uncertainty over bookings, and the accommodation was at least satisfactory in general... but there was drastically inadequate parking for a full hostel, and we were not given all the necessary info about how to gain access to the buildings ! ( a helpful resident who happened to be up late saved us from standing outside in the cold and dark. Make sure the person on the desk not only gives over the FULL keypad entry number...but also HOW to access the key pad in order to actually press the numbers and symbols in! :-l

酒店回复: Thank you Mike for taking the time to review the hostel.We agree the hostel car park is small, the reason for this is when the hostel was built in 1938 cars were rarely used, infact hostelers were only allowed to arrive by foot or by bike.... how times have changed! The signage in our carpark does indicate alternative parking both on street in the village and at the Visitor's centre a 5 minute walk from the hostel.Full instructions on how to access the hostel out of hours are given at reception when during check in, please accept our apologises if this wasn't make clear to you.It's lovely to hear you found our staf to be helpful and flexible.

That was a lovely property: clean and with both self catering and breakfast options. Reception staff was really friendly and welcoming.

What excellent accommodation and facilities for all us mountain bikers. Showers were fantastic with plenty of hot water and pressure. Kitchens well equipped. . Comfy beds. Quick walk to 2 pubs in the village. Would differently recommend

Stayed in a pod as only accommodation that dogs are allowed in. Very comfy nights sleep and the staff were friendly and welcoming and the facilities were spotless. Malham is a great place to visit, beautiful countryside and great walks. There are several good pubs nearby including a fully vegan hotel open to non residents.

Everything was great. However the parking was not. Had to navigate tight one track road to turn and then park down the hill on the road and walk back with luggage. Could do with a secure drop off.

If you’re ever solo travelling the Yorkshire dales for the first time or even as an experienced wander and needed a bed overnight, YHA is your ideal place! Room were tidy on check-in, Beds were clean and comfortable, breakfast was gorgeous and the staff were extremely helpful! Special mention to the young lass (who I didn’t get the name of) who went out her way to run out of the complex to the bus stop I was waiting at to grab my details to issue a refund for a fee I paid after thinking I lost a key which was found! Proper above and beyond! Will defo recommend and stay again if I find myself in the area

Stayed here while walking the Pennine Way in June. As good a YHA as I have seen, and I've seen a lot. Very friendly and helpful staff, fine breakfast. Everything was clean, tidy and just as it should be. Pity they don't do evening meals, I thought the Lister Arms (next door) was expensive for what you got.
