We checked in after hours, conveniently at the gass station. The room was HUGE! The 1/2 covered patio w/table & chairs a bonus! We found our on check out, that Tracy upgraded our room at no charge! The property manager, Daniel greeted us in the morning and was very friendly and chatty (like us). We experienced two earthquakes in the wee hours of the morning. That was AWESOME! The bed was comfy, room neat and clean. My husband made use of the desk, catching up on bills on his laptop. There was a separate table for dining. Fridge and coffee maker included. The leaves were in full autumn color. We will stay here again!

The tap water, including kitchen, bathroom and shower had strong smell of natural gas. Made us sick

Pool hours were very limited. And we could hear people talking through the walls all night. Also check in time was only btw 3-6pm which impeded on plans.

The cabins have everything that you need. Very quiet and peaceful. Kids enjoyed the pool. Would definitely stay again 😊

We are blown away by the incredible hospitality at the Casa de Fruta cabins! We were graciously given an incredible discount to make up for a bit of disappointment on our last visit. The most wonderful gentleman named Richard Hill was so gracious and professional when he called me personally, reaching out to go above and beyond to make sure we had the most beautiful visit. The cabin was amazing- we wanted to bring the whole thing home with us. So clean and cozy with private deck and fire pit and bbq. We didn’t want to leave the cabin! Got a great meal at the restaurant to bring back to the cozy cabin, and of course a selection of sinful munchies from the fruit stand. The beds are clean, cozy and comfortable with premium bedding. The decor simple, rustic, clean and charming. The ladies in the office are so kind, personable and hospitable. We felt like we were coming home! We look forward to our next visit. And we highly recommend the whole property, which is undergoing major renovation to be even more impressive than it already is! The Inn, Cabins, and Campground would be an awesome place for groups, such as family reunions, etc.

We loved everything about Casa De Fruta. We booked a room at the Inn, had a nice dinner and shopped for wonderful treats.
However, we sadly had to pack up and leave at 7:30 pm the same day we checked in, because the carpet in the room was so filthy and smelled so bad. So we made the long trip home 😢
I will say that the staff was wonderful and let us check in an hour early and were so friendly. The room was otherwise very clean, nice shower, bed seemed comfortable. We enjoyed strolling around relaxing.
If the carpet was removed I would stay again in a heartbeat. It was such a bummer to have to pack up and leave because of the foul odor.
