We were two couples staying at Hotel Alpenhof Wildental in Mittelberg during one week in June 2025. A hotel in a prime location for anyone looking for peace and quiet. From your room and the restaurant terrace, you have a breathtaking view of the mountains and the valley...you don't need anything else to relax. The rooms are luxuriously equipped with bathrobes for the swimming pool and sauna included. The hotel's facilities are very complete, including a swimming pool and a professionally equipped (Technogym equipment) fitness room. The cuisine is of a high gastronomic standard, with great attention paid to the pairing of wines and dishes. For both breakfast and dinner, there is an abundant choice of healthy and deliciously prepared dishes, beautifully presented. In short, Hotel Alpenhof Wildental (IFA hotels) is highly recommended for those who want more than just peace and comfort. The hotel exceeds most expectations and offers excellent value for money. The staff were friendly and service-oriented. A definite plus is the guest card, which allows you to use public transport and cable cars in the region free of charge.

Don't plan on skiing early, as the front desk manager refuses to check you out before 8 am. Also, parking is limited and the property is totally overpriced for its condition.
The front desk manager on March 2, 2025 literally yelled at guests who wanted to check out at 7:35 am, despite assurances from the previous day's shift. Never seen any Hotel staff in the world being that unprofessional and angry!!
