My husband is in a wheelchair / walker , asked for ice , was told to “stroll to gas station “ theirs was broken. He asked for change for vending machine for drinks, was told “again, stroll to gas station” theirs was broken.
Lights went out in room. Circuit issue perhaps .

Good news- the staff was great. Bad news- pool overall condition, hat to Fox toilet myself, wires hanging, fire alarm had bare wires exposed, unknown liquid in bottom of refrigerator, desperately needs repairs/remodeling.

Horrible experience, that I chose to check out early and never stayed the night. I had to pay $100 deposit along with the nightly rate. The floor in my room was disgusting and needed vacuuming. Cars parked in the parking lot broken down. I did not feel safe at this hotel at all.

Where to begin…… right outside the room was a truck with its rear axle removed and sitting on blocks. Next is the room itself, spackling all over the walls, a Budlight mini fridge, broken shower head, and a toilet that was about to wobble off the flange. The breakfast consists of a waffle maker, 2 choices of cereal and a TERRIBLE coffee maker

Would be a negative to ever staying here again, from the pictures on line and advertising I thought would be good, NOT. Once we got into the room, I tried calling around to 4 different places to not have to stay here, and all booked up. NO smoking room smelled like an ash tray, saftey lock broken, 1 hand towel and 1 bath towel in room looked like may have been left behind from before, fridge broke, hole in bathroom with a towel stuffed in it, not sure what was on other side, shower disgusting. “People” hanging around outside back side, sketchy to say the least. Oh well, we survived but find something else folks!!

The front desk person was very kind. However, this is the wrist room I’ve ever stayed in and I am not picky. The whole room smelled heavily of cigarette smoke, despite being “non-smoking”. I can deal with things I’m being run down but this place was falling apart. The lampshades were all burned up, the chair was missing its fabric and everything was worn out. I never could find the TV remote.
Bed was comfortable, thank goodness.

We were iffy about booking related to mixed reviews but we found our room quite clean and comfortable. I spray everything in our motel rooms down with Lysol anyway , just a habit developed during Covid and do it even when we stay at the Hampton. Spent one night for my birthday, then drove 30 minutes to eat breakfast at Daniel Boone Inn . Location was great with several fast food restaurants, Ingles and a Dollar General walkable if forget any essentials. Will stay again.

The place is run down and in dire need of modern updates. There was no ventilation in the bathroom, the sink drain was clogged, there was a gap under the entry door that allowed air in from the outside, also black mold in the bathroom by the corner of the tub. I will not recommend that place to anyone.

Was very out dated, carpet ,room had a terrible odor/smell in it! I asked for a refund and of course I made reservations so I had t forfeit a night stay?? It was a very busy weekend, I didn’t think I would find us a place? The place I found cost double amount, much smaller room, one bed, but very clean! I will definitely b looking into places a little bit better .
