My family stayed at this hotel for a last minute ski vacation. It’s a family-run establishment with comfortable rooms (although the bathrooms need updating), a quaint pool area, a sauna and steam room. The wellness area offers a variety of teas and has ample space for relaxing after a round of sauna, although an extra shower head or two directly next to the sauna would be ideal; on full days, one might have to wait for the shower pre/post sauna, which was a bit annoying for us. The breakfast is good and offers everything one needs for a great start on the slopes. There is a convenient room in the basement for storing and drying all your ski gear, which is next to the hotel’s private ski shuttle pickup point. The ski shuttle brings you to and from the Kleinarl ski area. After skiing, the hotel serves a small variety of mini cakes in the late afternoon. The lovely family running this hotel is very hospitable & friendly, and one really feels a sense of tradition and commitment in their hotel.
