My Wife and I stayed for a week here from 3rd Feb 2024 in room 303 on the top floor. Check in was quick - we arrived before our room was ready so reception looked after our bags for a couple of hours. Our Standard room came with a shower and three windows looking out over the slopes at the Galzig end of St Anton. Lots of space to hang clothing up on rails and cupboard space in the two wardrobes which also had a digital locking safe to keep our valuables in. We took our own travel kettle and iron. There was no fridge in our room. One thing we thought that could have been useful that we have seen in many previous ski hotel rooms are a couple of points to hang wet jackets and salopettes on the wall as you walk into the room. Breakfast every day was a selection from a lovely buffet that included cereal breads yoghurts preserved cheeses salmon as well as grilled bacon and Scrambled eggs. Lovely choice of teas or coffees finished things up and we were looked after each morning by very friendly ladies. As I mention in the title this review the location less than 75 metres from both the Galzig main Gondola as well as the hire shop where my wife picked up her hire skis that we arranged via Crystal who we booked with. Just behind the hotel and at the bottom of the Blue 50 ski run is the popular Basecamp Apres bar which we also looked out onto from our room. One thing to keep an eye on is the water temperature for both sink and shower as they didn’t seem to have a regulator. Not a problem for us but care if you have small children. Overall we wouldn’t hesitate to stay at the Skihotel Galzig again

This hotel is just perfect for skiing in St. Anton. The location is amazing, right in front of 2 lifts and walking distance from the buses to take you to other parts of the mountain. Lot’s of bars, restaurants and shops very close by. The staff is so friendly and breakfast is delicious. They leave you coffee, tea and a snack available everyday in the afternoon at the lobby. The rooms are very comfortable and everything is brand new. We highly recommend it!

A fantastic week spent in st Anton, resort and hotel were perfect! To summarise the hotel experience; Good points - staff very pleasant on the whole - healthy fresh breakfast with enough choice - the best location in st Anton - hotel was quiet not sure if this was down to time of year but it gave it a nice low key feel for myself and my partner - afternoon cake was a treat, must must try the rhubarb cake slices!!! Coffee and tea available in afternoon was a nice touch to warm up after a morning skiing - everywhere was clean and tidy - having the sauna and steam room was great and the ski boot room facilities were adequate, however you have to ask if you want to access sauna before 4pm To be improved - room was always very hot and AC didn’t work, had to sleep with door open every night but gets noisy outside about 530am with bin trucks/ deliveries etc so this disturbed sleep - some issues with a staff member and her tone around taking away bread roll/pastry from breakfast..when paying for something taking a way a snack should be allowed in my opinion especially if you don’t fancy breakfast at the allotted time. Overall, a fantastic stay and would absolutely recommend / return to this hotel.

Stayed here with friends over ten years ago and thought we would return. The hotel is in an excellent location right by the Galzig lift and near the Rendle lift and easy walk into the town. Our room was spacious, big enough to have a small desk area, two seater settee, fridge and with a large bathroom and very clean. Only downside was that it was very warm even with the heat turned off. We had a slope side (no balcony) room which was very noisy from mid-afternoon until 7pm due to Basecamp bar and live very loud music. If the window was closed you could hardly hear it but because it was hot, we tended to have the window open. Great underground parking at no extra cost As mentioned, there is a small fridge in the room – excellent for chilling the drinks and then drinking downstairs pre-dinner in the cosy communal lounge area (there is no bar in the hotel but a nice area for afternoon tea (and cake provided) or your own drinks. Staff were very friendly and helpful and breakfast was excellent.

This hotel is in the best possible location to access ski lifts, it is a very clean hotel and everything works as you would expect. The staff are very friendly and we would throughly recommend this hotel. The only improvement would be a kettle in the room.
