Too much in my serve apart from that and the I have to say odd blokey decorations pics on walls including sporting jerseys and teams however service was one notch above perfect despite slightly and inexplicable smaller numbers considering there were three thousand runners and their supports in town… anyway the margaritas were just like home a comment we related to our waitperson which seemed to endear us to she/him an we had quite a number of chats. Rather limited offerings considering the visitation to Thredbo for the weekend, Lorraine had the dumpling curry which received the tick of approval I opted for the prawn and chorizo fettuccine which as soon as it arrived I knew I would not finish despite nothing since a BLAT FOR breakfast still, a nice quiet dinner for two and Berntis is always a great place to eat and we have eaten there perhaps fifty or sixty times over the years and always is a great dining experience

We arrived at 9pm from Sydney, had booked the restaurant for 8.30pm but were rudely told "you are 1/2 hour late and the kitchen is closed" no apology. The hotel was probably cosy and nice 50 years ago, but is now completely run down. Awful old furniture in rooms. Bed had no headboard. Bathrooms need renovation. freezing bathroom floor. Old windows, broken mechanisms. Wi-fi doesn't work. No service, no welcoming atmosphere. Just so disappointing and soooo expensive. Go somewhere else.

Writing this review on behalf of my . Extremely disappointed and feel totally ripped off. For the price I paid, I expected a nicely refurbished standard room at the very least, knowing that it is peak snow season, however I was faced with a room that was not even worth 1/10 of what I paid. It is a very old style with lack of any comfort and space. This room has been closed in from an outside balcony. Considering the room should accommodate people staying for more than 1 night, it lacks basics such as storage. There are no drawers not even a basic suitcase stand. My suitcase had to sit on the floor which I have to keep stepping over. Thankfully I’m alone despite the room being for 2 adults. Thank God my wife is not with me! The wardrobe is not big enough to store all of my things. It is very average thin walls and no double glazing. I can hear all the noises outside. It is certainly a very deceiving ad. I am extremely gutted that I’ve paid thousands of dollars to stay here for 5 night. To add salt to the wound you have to pay $100 a night to park your car! The room itself is not even worth that per night. fortunately the manager let me park my car for a short time to bring my luggage in, but even that was not offered. I had to actually ask. Look elsewhere if you can! other rooms are perhaps nicer but considering what I paid, you would be paying a bomb to stay in a better room.. This place is just fully taking the piss never again
