Stayed as a family of four (parents plus two teen boys) in town for WKU Preview Day. The rooms are completely updated and well appointed. A VERY reasonable stay for needing multiple rooms for our quick overnight stay. Don’t let the “motel” name scare you! Nothing scary about it. The entire motel has a completely fresh and welcoming look, including an extremely well lit parking lot. Desk staff was happy to greet us and very kind. Right across the street was Spencer’s coffee for the morning and short jaunt to campus Sat morning! Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend!

This motel is well maintained, clean, responsibly priced and good location. It's about 3 miles from I-65 interstate, 15 miles from Bucee's, located at exit 38 on I-65 and about 30 minute drive to Mammoth Cave National Park. Recommendations: have a coffee maker in the room or at least in the "lobby"; Spencer's coffee shop is across the street yet a cup of coffee is $3.00, replacement roll of toilet paper in the bathroom and a box of facial tissue in the room. In the future if in the area and require lodging I will stay at this motel.

Wonderful motel. Seemed recently updated. Check in was simple and representative friendly, courteous and helpful. We chose this motel because of its proximity to Franklin Square so we could walk to shops and restaurant. Room was very clean, bed and pillows so comfortable. Nice coffee shop across the street for morning coffee. We stayed at several chain hotels on our week trip from Ohio to Alabama, Tennessee and Kentucky and this motel was the best. Would definitely return if in the area.

The Hotel was great!!! So clean and well maintained!!! Room had everything we wanted and needed!!! Staff was attentive. Parking lot was nice too!! Had a nice little Brewery nearby as well!! We will definitely be back!!! Thank you so much!!!

This is a very nice place! It is super clean, updated, comfy, quiet and felt safe. The parking lot is very brightly lit and very nice owners r on site. There is a very good coffee spot right across the street and other places to eat extremely close. This is the kind of place I like to find, everything u need for half the price of others. And only had to carry my luggage about 6' from my trunk to my door.

We stayed one night on our road trip and had a great stay! The property has been completely redone without losing the charm of the vintage vibe! Everything in the room was new and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and seemed genuinely glad we had chosen this place for our stay.

This is a wonderful motel and very reasonably priced. It has just been remodeled and is much less expensive than nearby chains. We had a room with 2 very comfortable beds, a table with 2 chairs, microwave and large mini-fridge. The bathroom had a large tiled shower with great water pressure. The bathroom had all new fixtures and was spotless. We did not hear traffic noise or our neighbors. Carpeting was clean. There is a great coffee shop across the road and a brewery within a short walk.

Never again. Owners were so rude and NOT accomidating. At all. Steer clear from here!!! However, location and price were good. And rooms were newly remodled. Only stay here if you'd like to be treated like a second class citizen!!!!!!!!!!!

We booked Cardinal motel for 2 nights while in Bowling Green for an Antique Oldsmobile club of America national meet. Conveniently located, close to everything. The price was very reasonable, the rooms were remodeled and impeccably clean. The owner was very congenial and helpful. We would stay again .

Great value in a fantastic location. Check-in was easy. The motel is clean and quiet. Everyone there is friendly. There's a brewery, coffee shop, and dive bar all within walking distance. Also quick access to major thoroughfares and downtwon.
