This is not a dog friendly establishment. There was no finesse about relaying this house rule. I, my friends and my puppy had to find somewhere else for our lunch. To my knowledge, and I am not about to go back to find out, there was no sign on the door to say how unwelcome our fur babies are. I have cause in my life, as I live local, to recommend places to eat. I shall be removing this venue from my information leaflets. In addition there is nothing vegan on their menu, with the exception of perhaps chips!

An absolute amazing find! Rooms are stunning and spotlessly clean. Staff couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast and dinner was a huge hit with us. Shout out to Stephen in the bar. Great experience

We had a gathering for a birthday party for dinner. The staff were more than helpful and the food was beautiful. The menu was very good value for money

We stayed for 3 nights and have to say it was amazing, the cleaness, the food, the fluffy towels,most comfortable bed and pillows, all in all it was superb,have to say Hugh thanks to the staff,so friendly and efficient, not get names,but Stephen and the girl from Pallastine were magnificent, well done all,highly recommend.

We are so lucky to have this hotel on our doorstep in South West Kerry. My husband and myself often eat here especially for Sunday lunch. The hotels specials menu is always good with plenty of roasts to choose from with many more choices. We particularly like the turkey and ham - not only at Christmas. The food is always delicious, piping hot and very well presented. You get good portions with normal veg with no messing like garlic and herbs. Just good old fashioned Irish food cooked properly. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. This hotel maybe 3 star but the food is 4 star. The desserts are delicious with a huge choice. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. Well done to the Ring of Kerry hotel, the staff and management and particularly the chefs and cooks in the kitchen. It’s a warm, clean and very comfortable establishment. Thank you.

What a fantastic meal we had here. Cajun chicken burger, chicken supreme and tagliatelle. All very fresh and the staff were friendly. Would highly recommend stopping off here if you are traversing the Ring Of Kerry. Well worth a visit. We will definitely be back
