What a great find - spending a week away on business our group welcomed the comfort and quality this lovely hotel offers. Rooms comfortable with quality furnishings and spotless. Bar area allows for relaxation and small group discussions. The restaurant with its oak panelling and lovely windows overlooking the courtyard is a lovely setting for the excellent food and wine choices Freshly made breakfast was also amazing! Nothing was too much trouble for the lovely hosts Would highly recommend

Recently booked a funeral tea and buffet following my father’s funeral. The organisation/planning for the day, and the food and professional service from all staff on the day was second to none. Will definitely be returning for an afternoon tea or Sunday lunch at some point. Highly recommend this hotel.

I travel a lot on business and my stay was the night before an early busy day. I can honestly say this is one of the loveliest places I’ve stayed in quite a while. The staff are an absolute asset to this hotel. So kind and friendly. They made it feel like such a luxurious experience. The food in the restaurant was also fantastic. Me and my colleague had a great evening meal there. The room was also really nice. The bed was so unbelievably comfortable I had a great night sleep. I have nothing negative to say at all. Have recommended to all my colleagues for the next time they have to travel that way. Will be staying again. Absolute gem of a hotel.

We married at the hotel on Wed 10th September 2025 using “Just the 2 of Us” package. As the name suggests, it was just myself and my partner and it was the most amazing day. The hotel staff are very welcoming and friendly and Alex and Carol acted as our witnesses. We were married in their library which has a beautiful vaulted wooden ceiling and is perfect for a smaller more intimate wedding. The hotel is a former country house and has a cosy, feel with spacious gardens for good photo opportunities. We had an overnight stay in the stunning bridal suite and the wedding package included a delicious a la carte 3 course dinner and full English breakfast. The hotel was perfect and the hotel staff made our day very special. They do cater for weddings of all sizes and I would highly recommend it for smaller weddings or those who just want it very personal, as we did.

我和我的朋友今天在这里喝了绝对最好的下午茶。一切都是新鲜准备和自制的，而且有太多我们不得不带一些回家。事实上，餐厅里也没有人能吃完他们所有的东西。餐厅经理是有史以来最可爱的人，我们几乎可以不用额外付费就淹死在茶壶里。我们强烈推荐。
