酒店回复: Hi , I am glad you liked our park & while we do have a couple of WIFI hotspots in the park I am sorry that at times' especially when town is very busy that our WIFI coverage & Telstra coverage is not as good as it used to be or as good as we would like it to be, apparently it is worst because most phones no longer have blue tick. We have advised Telstra & are hoping they can do something to improve our coverage. Luckly many of our customers take the opportunity to get away from devices as there are plenty of other things to do such as read one of our books from our book exchange, or spend time by the pool or socialise with our other travellers or explore the wonderful sites in the area.

While we are actually the most spacious park in Port Douglas & have a lot of large sites with lots of gardens between our sites, July is our a very busiest time of year & every park in the area is full to compacity with Southerns escaping the cold weather. I would encourage visitors to come in April to early June or September to October in our shoulder season when the weather is a little warmer & great for swimming especially if you like a little more space & then you can have the pick of the large sites & it is much easier to get into your favourite restaurants & tours without the crowds. I personally love April & May.

"I recently stayed at BIG4 Port Douglas Glengarry Holiday Park and wanted to share my thoughts. The two-bedroom villa was comfortable, and the location was convenient for exploring Port Douglas and cape tribulation.. The swimming pool and waterpark were a hit with my family, and the kids enjoyed the jumping pillow and pedal carts. The ground staff were friendly. However, there were some issues that detracted from our stay. I found it unusual to have staff swimming in the pool after hours, and one staff member even took it upon themselves to enforce pool rules while off-duty, which made the kids a bit uncomfortable. They were climbing the rocks though. Rather than correct the behavior he went on a bit to much,. Reception staff often seemed too busy to acknowledge me promptly, and I had to wait five to 10 minutes while they finished phone calls with no other staff available to assist. Phone reception was very poor throughout the park, and Wi-Fi was only available near reception, which wasn't convenient for our villa location. The park itself could do with some upgrades to bring it up to scratch. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay, but I wouldn't return due to these issues, especially as a BIG4 member expecting a higher standard."

We were created and shown to our spot by the groundman. what a great introduction to the park. Vey clean and great amenities. we had a grass site and was surrounded by plants and trees. great Caravan Park.

We were given a choice of sites and chose a beautiful one just inside the driveway...it was lush and peaceful..there,was a small walk to the amenities and the pool that were cleaned every day..the office staff were very helpful as was the groundsman..we loved it here.
