Arrived just at 5:05 so key was in a key safe. On finding our room, it hadn't been cleaned and had the last guest's linen still on the bed. Rang the overnight number and got told to see the restaurant staff and they luckily could give us a key to another room. The room was clean but dated, it was a cheap price though. The location was excellent for the Strand, easy walk along the beach to restaurants and shops.

Shoredrive will always be out 1st choice when staying in Townsville. It's very pet friendly, the rooms are always clean and no matter how busy they are, the staff go out of their way to be accommodating, flexible and understanding of our travel needs. Can not fault them, or praise them enough for everything they do

Shore drive is absolutely the best accommodation we have booked on our many trips to Townsville. The staff gonout of their way to help if possible and are very understanding of changes in plans and the comfort of their guests. Our pets are always relaxed here and our elderly mum's health needs are acknowledged and accomodated where possible. Definitely recommend this gem on the beach

The aircon was making noise all night and as the reception was closed and I have checked-in on the Saturday evening impossible to get that fixed
