We flew in on a military flight and landed around 10 PM. We found this place online upon landing at our first stop around 7. It had good reviews so we took a chance. What a delight! Turned out it was central to much of what we wanted to do and had great food in the area! The hostess was so kind and warm. Even though it was very late when we arrived, they showed us around the room and the building. She was attentive at breakfast despite our language barrier! The room was lovely and comfortable. If I can give one tip: Get WHATS APP. As we booked so late, and did it via phone, we missed the confirmation email giving entry directions via What's APP. I felt very horrible waking these kind people up. I had only heard of this App two weeks prior. The sent the codes to What's App. Super easy.

Elios Rooms is conveniently located a few minutes walk away from the Duomo. It really is a lovely place to stay and Marika, who runs it, is extremely kind and helpful. The room I stayed in was very comfortable and the private bathroom was really fab. It cost about 60 Euros a night and was ten times better than the Air BnB that I had stayed in when I first arrived ( Luca’s flat in Via Santissima Trinità ). The Elios bedroom fridge cooled down my water and chocolate and the air concooled me. What a pleasure! Thanks Marika and her mama and papa!
