I've been to the resort before and both visits were just so very relaxing. Employees were helpful and friendly, which is always a bonus. Great spot .... but I do miss the golf course.

Room comfortable, pool fairly warm and jacuzzi hot enough with strong jets, beautiful plantings surround the buildings, food at restaurant is good (the restaurant has a 50s-early 60s time-warpy ambiance), staff is helpful.

Good location to start a visit to Anza-Borrego State Park, which is only 4 miles away. We enjoyed the large pool and hot tub.
The property is dated, large rooms but lacking a modern feeling. A restaurant is on site, however the staff was very slow, we waited 30 mins for hamburgers and the restaurant wasn't even half full.

The room furnishings are dated but still very clean and comfortable. Maid serviced the room each day. Two bottles of water chilling in mini fridge. Reasonably priced as well.
