Holiday Acres helped us host a small retirement event. The food that was prepared was superb. The servers were attentive and very friendly throughout the entire event. The room was set up beautifully, and everything exceeded our expectations - and best of all, it was so little trouble for us that we were able to just relax and enjoy. Highly recommend.

The place was nice, but the front desk clerk was inappropriately underdressed, and overly friendly to the male guests, and disgusting pushing out their chest out on the counter, just not family friendly for little children to be around!

We didn't have chairs to sit outside our room but the other rooms did. They need different toilet paper. It was 1ply that shredded. Brought in alot of sand on our shoes and didn't have a way to sweep it up.
Beautiful area to sit by the lake. Quiet and relaxing. Would stay there again.

酒店回复: Thank you for the review, it helps us to do a better job for all of our guests. Sorry about the chairs, if you had told us we would have fixed that. The toilet paper is what is required if you have your own septic system.

The 1st floor motel rooms smell moldy & are less than optimal in terms of location & amenities.

All the trees near the lake are lovely, trails are wonderful and boat launches are well maintained.

We have stayed here several times over the last 40 years and one thing that is so consistent is the friendliness of the staff. We stay in the motel which is clean and nice. If you are used to a Hilton or Hyatt you may be disappointed. This is a Northwoods motel, the rooms are clean but dated, personally we like that as the resort is right on a lake and has many acres of land to walk around on and enjoy the quiet yet is only minutes from town. Why stay in a chain motel on the highway overlooking a parking lot when you can relax in a quiet wooded setting. They also have a great restaurant and bar attached with good food, great service and good drink.

We stayed here for three nights a couple of weeks ago. Booking and check in was simple. The staff are very nice and accommodating. The grounds are very well maintained. There is an indoor swimming pool, tennis courts, a kids play area, a beach, and many trails. We stayed in the lodge. The room was large. We were picking up my son from camp and I though we would have to share a room, but it was large enough that we ran out and bought a cheap air mattress so he could have his own bed. There are cabins on the property, a supper club, and a coffee bar, but we did not try any of those. The resort was quite busy. There were groups of all ages. While our room was large, the bathroom was very dated and in need of a renovation. There was a binder highlighting aspects of the lodge, but some of the pages had mold growing on them. I thought there was daily room cleaning, but our room was never touched. Perhaps I missed something. Definitely a place to check out if you are looking for lodging in the area.

Classic “up north” feel. Could use some updating, but clean and the restaurant is excellent.
