All three guests ordered the Thai Prawn Curry as their main course, and we were all disappointed. While the dish was reasonably tasty, the portion contained far too little protein—just seven small prawns per serving. This represented extremely poor value for money, and despite having starters, we all left the restaurant feeling hungry.

Can’t recommend this hotel highly enough. Group of 8 stayed there overnight including an evening meal. Very central location. Rooms were lovely and the food was delicious. Staff couldn’t do enough to ensure our stay was perfect. Have to mention Louise on reception who was so friendly and welcoming. Definitely be back and would recommend it to anyone visiting Kilkenny.

We had a perfect cocktail at the bar and a wonderful conversation with Marco. Very attentive to our preferences. We returned for a nightcap that was equally good. A quiet, comfortable and friendly way to end the evening.

Best thing about the hotel is the location! Right in the centre with everything a short walk away. Hotel was nicely furnished and the bed was comfortable. Our window did not open and the room was exceptionally warm. No fan in the room. Breakfast menu was limited but staff were more than happy to customise dishes for us!

Fabulous lunch in the front bar. Thai Curry is absolutely delicious. Teenage kids had beef and it was scrumptious. Staff very friendly & efficient. A very talented team at Zuni! Highly recommend. Book in advance to avoid disappointment😁😁

Hotel was nice and in the middle of town. Front office staff Louise was also very warm and made us feel very welcome. We asked about dinner and she not only explained how it worked but also shared the menu for the evening. We enjoyed our time there and thank you Louise!

Lovely boutique hotel in the centre of the city. Rooms are spotlessly clean and the hotel staff are friendly and helpful. We ate in the restaurant one evening which was very good. The bar was lovely with staff that know how to make a cocktail. As we had to leave early on our final morning before normal breakfast time we were still able to have a breakfast which was left for us. We had no complaints at all about this hotel and would definitely stay again if we visit Kilkenney.

Fabulous. Great location, lovely friendly staff and food excellent! I stayed overnight with my husband. Did local Parkrun, had a beautiful breakfast after. Later in the day I met with friends and we had a wonderful meal to celebrate my friends 60th Birthday! Zuni's did not disappoint! Will b back 💕
