This is a 1950s style motel right on the dockside tucked away a couple of blocks from the main drag in Clearwater Beach - and is clearly cared for by its staff, which is the most important thing for a building of this age and price point. The room was clean, and big and right by the pool (which is big enough to take a dip in whilst you are sat in the sun, but not quite for swimming) - it's not the Marriott or the Hilton, but for 1/3 of the price it's great.

It was very clean, but it’s not fancy. The room had a large TV, microwave and mini fridge. The bathroom was tiny with no shelf space. It was gone for just me, but two would’ve been cramped. It’s very close to Pier 60 and the marina and that was nice. Also has nice seating area by the inter-coastal.

Booked and the host never sent me instructions and then it was canceled. Sat on street for 2 hours. Had to get a place off the beach and it was significantly more expensive. Beyond upset. How do you people get away with this? Truly incredible!!

I booked this place for my parents as a gift for their small vacation together after not being able to vacation for years. My parents are elderly and this place was a total death trap because of the serious safety hazards. My mom called me immediately after they got there and said there are no exterior lights, the railing right by their door on the second floor fell. God forbid one of them were holding onto it! The room was a disaster. Rusted stove, dirty floors, filthy filters and disgusting bed sheets. I was appalled because all the pictures I saw on Airbnb were beautiful. DO NOT BE FOOLED! I sure was. I was in absolute distress because my elderly parents who just drove 10+ hours to arrive to a hotel where they couldn't even see anything outside!! It was so dark due to lack of any exterior lighting my mom fell down the stairs leaving on their way to another hotel not even half an hour after getting there. For your safety and those you love. RUN AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AS YOU CAN! If you are under renovation or construction, you need to let people know and give them to the choice to decide if they'd like to stay there. This could have been my parents last trip due to the negligence. This money hungry business could have and probably will cost someone their lives!

Me and my boyfriend loved our stay at Sta’n Pla. This retro motel is perfect for budget trips. We were in room 28, it included everything we could have possibly needed during our two night stay. We used UV lights as soon as we entered and essentially everything was cleaned spotless. The floors did need a good mopping; my feet were turning black after 20 minutes, but that didn’t bother us too much. We didn’t see any bugs the whole time either. We really felt at home here, i slept amazing the whole stay. We felt very safe leaving our things in the room while we attended a concert in Tampa as well as explore the beach, which really is only a 3 minute walk. The beach nearby is beautiful and is covered in shells. There’s also plenty of places nearby for food. The area is nice and is decently quiet, we felt safe and very comfortable walking around to take pictures at 3am. The pool was clean, they even allowed us to cool off in it before we checked in. They also allowed us to fish on the docks which had sheepshead. Antonia was very kind and informative throughout our stay. Overall we really enjoyed it here and we couldn’t be happier. We’ll definitely be back :) Cleanliness - 7/10 Atmosphere - 8/10 Area - 9/10 Amenities - 7/10 (there is no washer or dryer)

This place has sticky floors. Very dated bathroom. The toilet seat was crooked. The pictures speak for themselves. The bed was hard as a rock. Not going back. We kept the windows open to air it out. The pool is old and was dirty not heated.
