As when you contacted the front desk to report the issue, and the General Manager arrived to your room, it was less than 5 minutes time. Upon arrival we found that the tub had drained completely, though you stated it was not draining when you took your shower, and that water was standing in the shower. The General Manager did advise you that the maintenance engineer was on their way, however it would be approximately one and a half hours until they could arrive, as they were out of town, as it was their day off. You inquired about being moved to another room in order to take a shower, and the General Manager did explain to you that would not be able to be a resolution due to the status of occupied rooms and available rooms at that time. Though the tub was draining slowly, the tub did still drain, and per our maintenance engineer, it drains in the same manner as all of our tubs/showers in the hotel property. They are not configured to drain in a fast manner so as not to overflow the plumbing system in the hotel when the property is at a high occupancy, such as we were on the night you stayed with us. The General Manager did offer you hotel property bonus points for the issue, which you refused. The third party booking agency made the decision themselves to not discount or refund you any portion of your stay, The property and management did what was within their wheelhouse to resolve the issue for you, however none of the resolutions offered were acceptable to you.

We do aplogize that the noise from the Interstate was bothersome to you during your stay. Unfortunately the noise from the traveling vehicles and ongoing construction is not within our control.
