We stayed at the Wheatsheaf as they allowed pets and it is conveniently located for the M1. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the rooms clean and tidy. We ate in the restaurant which had a good selection and was very tasty and good value.

Had a really lovely tasty Sunday lunch today. All the team were so friendly, nothing was too much trouble, we had some special requests with regards to the position of the table and this was sorted out for us with no hesitation. Really good varied menu and really reasonable prices. We all had a Sunday Lunch which was excellent, I had the pork and lamb, both delicious but the pork was even extra tasty. Thank you so much, will definitely be back.

Wonderful little Bed & Breakfast in a lovely quaint little town. The service is fantastic, super friendly and helpful staff. The food is delicious, and it has a great pub & patio as well.

Work stay.
A 1 night stay for work reasons. The pub and food are excellent with a good selection at a reasonable price. My room was comfortable but very cold due to the old leaking sash windows. All in all for the price it's ok for a 1 night stay.

A real gem close by the M1 with all the feel of a local inn. Comfortable, good ambience and top value, the dining was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Central location, good parking and prompt service, impossible to find fault.
