great beach views; lounges spacious and in art deco style; dining pleasant but pricey- not a great deal of menu choice; helpful and welcoming staff; car park notices a bit threatening but registering the car at reception overcomes this for guests; lack of local facilities but braughton and crowde within a shortish drive from the hotel.

Amazing sea views from front of hotel, great facilities, thermal suite is excellent. Overall lovely stay and great beach access though some areas are a little bit tired.

Beautiful setting, stunning beach views!
Had a third floor, beach-facing, pool-view room with a balcony. Stunning setting on top of the cliff! The prices at Beachside Grill and in the hotel were quite high but this was to be expected given the location. Nice pool area and beautiful lawn terraces, very refreshing after a long day of hiking the coast path! Friendly, helpful, professional staff. Breakfast was fine. Only minor niggle was the bathroom. Overcomplicated shower so difficult to find the correct temperature and pressure! Only had one night stay, would love to have stayed longer to make full use of the spa and wellness facilities and the beach.

Hotel is in a fabulous position and has recently undergone refurbishment in the main areas. Bedrooms and bathrooms are older in style. Supper menu is great in main restaurant but you do have to book. Mornings the same - need to book but breakfast range is limited and same every day.

A beautiful setting with everything you could possibly need.
Comfortable beds, friendly staff, clean room with good amenities. I also had a stunning beach view.
Nothing was too much trouble. They even catered for my Gluten sensitivity. The food at Breakfast and dinner was absolutely delicious.
My massage was heavenly also.
The only think I didn’t like was the fact I had to leave such a wonderful place!
