Hotel was probably refurbished on the 1990s. Flat screen tv in bedroom . was about 20 years old nearly size of a tube to hanging on the wall. Bedroom was large and very comfortable king size bed. Staff very friendly, welcoming and helpful. In the middle of the village so handy for pubs and restaurants and small ferry to garnish island and it’s Italian gardens.

Had a short one night stay at this hotel. We did not have dinner there but did have a few drinks in MacCarthy's bar. Very nice atmosphere. All the staff were very welcoming and helpful. A really comfortable night's sleep (fabulous bed). Shower is just okay. and a really tasty breakfast in the morning with great choice, and wonderful wait staff. Will be back again.

Excellent location, it was directly opposite the blue pool park. The staff were very friendly and the hotel itself was spotlessly clean. Breakfast deserves a mention-we were expecting continental but were pleasantly surprised with a cooked breakfast option, it was delicious! The large parking lot to the rear was perfect. Will stay again when in Glengariff.

Stayed one night solo at the Glengarrif Park Hotel. I think I got a little lucky with the room I was given as it was very very spacious compared to some of the other rooms I managed to have a nose at while walking through the corridor. Room was exceptionally clean, bed was comfy with lovely linen and pillows. Staff were helpful. Decent breakfast too! The location couldn’t be better for a stay in Glengarrif. Situated on the Main Street with pubs, craft shops, restaurants right next door. Right across the road is the entrance to the Blue Pool….a beautiful swimming spot and walk situated on a pennisula lined with stunning Scott’s Pine trees. A must see! My first time in staying in Glengarrif despite being from Cork City. I recommend any tourist planning a trip to south west Ireland to visit here!

Not what i expected Could do with a bit of high dusting, alot of cobwebs on/near walls/ceilings. The previous guest left without their underwear which was left on the radiator in room, not indicative of thorough cleaning 😕 Beds very soft (some would appreciate). Bedding clean Grass cutting at 7.20am, not very conducive to a hotel lie in...disappointing

This was the second time i visited within the space of a few weeks. This time the room was really comfortable, clean and everything worked. I wanted some peace and quiet and was pleased to receive just that, with a spacious room in a quiet corridor off the main corridor. The price was also good in comparison to other hotels in the area. However, last time i visited, i thought the room on that occasion was a bit 1990ish. Also, the shower tap was loose and was scalding hot as a result. Then, in spite of the curtains being drawn, therefore indicating the room is occupied and a guest probably wants privacy, a man was on the flat roof and cleaning my window. I was horrified that this occurred. Assuming that he wasn't a peeping Tom, he needs to be told about how to respect guests privacy. But, i'm glad i gave it another chance as the second visit was much better and i would have given it five stars if it wasn't for the previous visit which i trust was an unfortunate exception to the norm.

Large room. Very friendly and attentive staff. Very good breakfast. Plenty of parking. Ideally situated for exploring the area. The BluePool boat trip to Garinish island is directly across the road from the hotel and worth doing. A very comfortable and enjoyable stay.
