We got bought a nights stay here as an early Christmas present. The room was so cosy and clean, couldn’t fault it! The lady at front of house was so friendly and helpful, she really made us feel so welcome! Nothing was to much trouble! Breakfast in the morning was superb and was huge! Parking available free on site and was a nice little 10-15 min walk into bath centre to the Christmas markets. Would highly recommend the bear inn and will definitely be back to stay again soon!

We had a disappointing time at the Bear Inn. My husband ordered a vegetarian cabbage dish, and when it arrived it was stone cold and tough. We sent the meal back and it was reheated, by which time my meal had gone cold. We were offered 10 % discount, which we accepted or a free glass of wine. We accepted the discount and the inn only charged us for one glass of wine instead of two. The waiting staff were pleasant and apologetic but this did not repair the disappointment of a wasted and unpleasant meal.

We ate here last Sunday evening We were staying at Greys and this was the nearest place to eat We arrived at 7.15 and the kitchen was closing however the staff were really lovely and poured us wine and did fish and chips for us Nothing was too much trouble Lovely helpful people thank you

我们周末在这里住了两间房。优点：员工很棒；餐厅和我们的晚餐都很美味；床很舒服，床单干净整洁；楼下酒吧/餐厅的噪音很小；淋浴设施和洗漱用品都很好，毛巾质量也不错；房间虽然临街，但很安静。然而，我的房间（4号房）却很昏暗阴沉，几乎没有光线，视线也很差。通往卧室的昏暗走廊里弥漫着一股令人作呕的气味，这股气味会渗入卧室。这种气味一直存在，而且过去几年的评论中也有人提到过，所以这绝对不是个例。窗户（很脏）打不开，所以没有新鲜空气，只能用空调。家具破旧不堪（老旧、有污渍、把手缺失等等）。墙壁破损且未修复。浴室的瓷砖也缺失了。房间需要彻底翻新——它过时且令人沮丧。这绝对不是精品酒店的标准，我不会推荐任何人入住这里。如果是75英镑的民宿，那还勉强可以接受，但绝对不值我付的这个价钱。非常令人失望，跟网上的图片完全不一样。
住宿环境不错，位置便利，步行约15分钟即可到达市中心。浴室干净整洁，房间的其他部分也很舒适，但可能略显陈旧（或许只是因为地毯厚重，窗帘厚重）。

离市中心有点远，到酒店的山路很陡。走路也不算太糟糕。
总而言之，我们非常高兴。
