My husband and I took my son and daughter in law for a five day winter trip. We stayed in a two bedroom suite- each couple had a king bed which was great. It had a large living room and kitchen which we really enjoyed for making a few meals and hanging out together. Each bedroom had its own TV and well as a large on in the living room. Made to order breakfasts each morning were wonderful. We also enjoyed a cocktail in the bar onsite and talking to other guests. We also really enjoyed the snowshoes provided by Bruce for use right on the property. Bruce was super responsive to my questions before the trip and was an amazing host while we were there. I they recommend the Old Saco Inn.

This was a perfect getaway after the holiday stress. My room overlooked fields, mountains, and the river. Despite the ice storm we had while staying there, everything was well taken care of. Bruce (the owner) is very pleasant and makes a great breakfast! Looking forward to returning in the summer.

The Inn worked perfectly as a jumping off point to a concert at the Stone Mountain Arts Center (25 minute drive from the Inn)! The Inn sits on a lovely property; our room was clean, spacious and well-equipped; and the breakfast and hospitality provided by Bruce and the staff were first-rate! Definitely going back there.

We had a lovely stay at the Old Saco Inn. The property is stunning—peaceful, beautifully maintained, and perfect for unwinding. Our room, a thoughtfully converted horse stable, was a surprise at first, but after revisiting the website, it was clear that’s exactly what we’d booked. It turned out to be charming, clean, and quite comfortable. Breakfast was a highlight—delicious and included with our stay. The host was warm and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Whether you're planning a relaxing getaway or looking for a scenic venue for an event, I’d absolutely recommend the Old Saco Inn. Their grounds and hospitality make it a standout destination

We can’t say enough positive things about our experience having our wedding at the Old Saco Inn! I cannot overstate how GORGEOUS the venue is. And the staff was so supportive, organized, and genuinely cared about making our day special. They worked with us on a few accommodations and a last minute rain plan, which eased our minds on an already high-pressure day. We received SO many compliments from our guests about the venue, location, stunning scenery, as well as things like the flow of our day and how seamless everything felt. On another note, it was also so much fun and so special to stay on the property with our family and wedding party, and the breakfast every morning was seriously to die for. If you’re considering OSI as your venue, do it!!! It’s one of the best decisions we made in our wedding planning!

Upon arrival we were greeted by the owner Bruce who welcomed us to the Inn. He was genuinely interested in why we were visiting Fryeburg ME and chose The Old Saco Inn. Our room was clean and had an amazing view of the mountains. Breakfast was prepared and served by the owner. We will definitely be returning to the Old Saco Inn on our next stay in Fryeburg.

Quick get away, fortunately a little off season. Weddings haven't started yet. Place is always clean and very comfortable. Supper at the restaurant was delicious, new chefs on staff. Return trip scheduled for end of May with friends. Nice to see Bruce and staff.

My husband and I needed to be in Lovell for one night, and found the Old Saco Inn on line. Once we saw the Inn and met Bruce, we wished we could stay a week! Lovely views, quiet, and Bruce recommended a fun place for dinner since in the off-season their own dining room was closed. (Fryeburg Kitchen, just a few miles away) I can't imagine there's a nicer place to stay in this part of Maine. Thank you Bruce!

We had a very comfortable stay! We enjoyed getting to know the proud staff of the Inn and the bistro and pub areas were a great place to hang out after a day of snow activities. The Inn is so charming and it boasts a beautifully maintained exterior. The walk from our building to the Inn was perfectly short allowing us to go to breakfast or to grab a drink while getting a few steps in and a little fresh air. You catch a great view of the mountains as well! The bed was very comfortable and the photos of our room match what we saw in person. This is truly a highly rated, 3 star, Maine Inn. Nothing luxury but comfortable with delicious house made food and a great drink/wine selection. Close to North Conway and an hour from some really awesome winter fun! Thank you!
