The worst behaved hotel in Sylhet. We are a family of 4 travelling from London. I had booked the hotel in May 2025 and received a paid online booking confirmation. We were due to stay at the hotel from 23 to 29/12/2025. Less than a day before arrival in the early hours of 22/12/2025 I was notified by the online booking agent that Rose View had cancelled our reservation as they had overbooked their rooms. By this time I was already in Dhaka awaiting my domestic flight to Sylhet. I had phoned Rose View directly and was informed by the night manager that BPL had reserved 95 pct of the rooms at the hotel and they had to cancel some guest reservations. Despite telling him that this is too short notice I was told to call later and speak to the duty manager. When I spoke to the duty manager he didn’t want to listen and started blaming the online agent for submitting the booking late. I then told him I have email confirmation from his hotel dated 02/12/2025 of my reservation and airport pick up arrangement. He then didn’t know what to say and then said I need to speak to their Sales Manager and not him. I was absolutely appalled by the behaviour of this hotel. That they were not truthful and they cancelled with a few hours notice. They placed profit before humanity. All responsible will be held accountable for their actions in the hereafter. If you’re thinking of booking this hotel, please think carefully as I wouldn’t like anyone else to experience the stress I and my family had gone through.

Our stay started out with a request for an airport pick up, which was a disaster. The driver spoke no English, fine he knew where to take us. He drove like a bat out of hell zig zagging into oncoming traffic and semi trucks, beeping and tooting his horn every 3 seconds. Then, he decides to take a personal detour for some unknown reason which took us 20+ minutes out of the way from the hotel. He exits the vehicle and is gone for over 5 minutes. We had no phone signal nor any idea if he had simply abandoned us. We finally made it to the hotel and this place is, at best, a 1 or 2 star hotel in a major city anywhere on Earth. The rooms are generally clean, but the carpets and furniture leave something to be desired. I decided to use bottled water to brush my teeth, and they did leave ample waters in the rooms. There is a “speakeasy” on floor 11 that serves one brand of beer in a bottle and shots of Jack Daniel’s whiskey, and not cheaply I might add. A small bottle of beer will set you back $6. Hopefully this chaotic city will one day receive a Bonvoy property.

Huge big rooms, very comfortable hotel, friendly staff. Must mention Lubna who was professional and helpful. The hotel looks slightly jaded. Also the entrance is horrible. The Hotel has its reception on the 5th floor which you access through an old rickety wobbly lift. The roof top swimming pool is a big disappointment. Despite being a small tub sized pool, they close it for the flimsiest of reasons. The breakfast too does not inspire and could do with a makeover. Nevertheless for Sylhet city, I would recommend this hotel as the GO-TO hotel!

这是一次愉快的家庭旅行,我们在酒店住得很愉快。但我们的选择是错误的,我们住在拥挤的地区。总体服务不错,但房间特别需要装修。屋顶很大但维护不当。早餐也很好,我们很享受
