The room smelled very clean upon entering. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the bathroom was clean and bright. Toiletries were available and a coffee machine in the room. Dixie at the front office was cheerful and friendly. The breakfast was pretty good. Waffles, sausage, little omelets and fruit, yogurt, cereal, juice.

When we showed up to check in the clerk informed me that she would nkt honor the price i was qouted online and instead said it would be an addtional $60 plus tax and a $50 deposit even though i had an out of state license she appeared extreamly intoxicated and had the insde locked when we arrived at 8pm telling me it was for safteybbecause it was a dangerous area. We left and went down the road to a days inn which was a decent price and the staff was extremly friendly.

When I arrived early Saturday morning, after traveling 500 miles from the Washington, DC area, no one was present for check-in. There was also a "No Vacancy" sign in the window at the desk clerk's desk. ended up booking a room at the Best Western next door. Fortunately, I did not pay for this room in advance and did not have to dispute the charges on my credit card.

Entrance to property was hard to find. Desk staff was very nice. Room was clean, but not well maintained (peeling paint, non-working lightbulbs, detached baseboard). Was fine for a nights stay when we just needed to sleep and shower.

The best part of our stay was the front desk receptionist. She was very sweet. We were advised that the TV was not working and decided that was okay as we were on the road all day and just wanted to sleep. BUT... The room didn't appear to be cleaned, the commode seat was loose, the lamp next to the bed didn't light, the refinished tub was peeling, there was gum on the couch cushion and the coffee maker didn't have a tray to place the coffee pod. Not a place we will be returning to.

Property requires renovating. We did not use the tub as it was not appropriate for use. The entire tub was flaking (tub enamel). The was no TV cable working either. Found dirt under the bed skirt that appeared to be missed during cleaning. Front desk staff very friendly and provided excellent customer service. No breakfast provided; only coffee available.
