Our room looked nothing like the pictures we saw online. The rooms online looked newer. Our room looked old and had a slight smell. Our sink was clogged somehow, so anytime the water ran, we had standstill water. I will admit that I am somewhat of a hotel snob, but I ****** it up being that we were in the country. We have family that stays near Tyler, but I think next time we will choose a different hotel.

Young lady at the front desk seemed put out that she had to leave her office when we checked in and when requested more towels. Room was not cleaned to our standard. All eight pillows were old, worn out and flat.

The hotel itself is very nice and in a nice area. HOWEVER, when I tried to pay CASH when I checked in ...the front counter person was very condescending and a bit rude. He stated they did NOT accept cash for anything. He even thought it would be funny, I guess, by pulling out the "former" cash drawer to prove it to me. I did NOT require proof..but advance notice would of been nice. I had a card with me but some people might of faced an issue.

This seems to be an older hotel. The bed was very firm and the sheets were scratchy. Staff was courteous at the front desk and kept to themselves everywhere else. Breakfast was great. Love the option to make red waffles, that was fun! The hallway floors felt like they could give way at any time.
They were in the midst of renovations so maybe these things will be addressed!

The hotel was under construction and placed my husband and I on a floor that they were directly under the construction site. They started at 7 am every morning. The front desk really didn't care to move us. I will be staying at the Marriott down the street for now on the customer service is so much better.

honestly the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was because I didn't like the pillows on the bed and I know that's just me being picky.. everything else about my room was great; the bed was comfy, the room & bathroom were clean and the staff I dealt with were very friendly. I would definitely stay here again.. I'll just remember my own pillow next time
