Definitely the least comfortable and least friendly place. I’ve stayed there was one good employee there place was torn up. Just not a friendly cozy place.

Room was poor:
- night stand had laminate missing from top
- walls had unpainted spackle patches
- main overhead light made so much buzzing that it was unusable
- kitchen was empty, had to call desk to supplies
--- when staff brought up supplies I asked them about the light (Tuesday night). They said they'd fix it in the morning. When I checked out on Friday still not fixed
- kitchen faucet drips, could not make it stop
- one of the windows would not close far enough to lock it
- always had to check to make sure the door latches and locked
* The bathroom was ok, best part of the room EXCEPT that "white" wash clothes and towels were dingy great

Staff was the best redeeming quality here. He helped me make things work out with shuttles and not having to take my things out of my room before I went to the hospital at 5am since I had a second reservation but they were separate.
Also it does have a kitchenette which is a huge plus. Just bring ur own pans and utensils n such.
However ...the room smelled strongly of coconut, unfortunately that scent turns my stomach... Thhere was food all over the counter from the last guest and sleeping spots on the only bed.
Being that he worked with me to help my shuttle work out, I stayed silently but I had to clean the food off the kitchen counter before getting comfortable and slept on top of the blankets.

Very outdated and continental breakfast consisted of coffee from some ancient, probably never cleaned, coffee maker and a basket of granola bars. Place needs a thorough cleaning and re-do.

Rooms were large and had recently been renovated. Good value for visiting Mayo Clinic. They had a shuttle but we had to be there at 5:46 am so could not take it. Lots of smokers outside, but hotel cannot control that.

It said online a grab and go breakfast. That wasn't true. The bed was hard. Jay tried to help us. The front door had a bottom to open but it didn't work. They treated us well.

Didn't like the staff insinuating that all guests steal the towels.
Staff walked in on us without knocking or calling ahead....brought it to the attention of the front desk and pretty much ignored

A nice economical option in Rochester.
I have stayed at this property before. it is well run, clean, safe, comfortable and a good value. I will definitely stay again.

Dirty Floors
The floor in the room was dirty. Walking around the room my feet were filthy with dirt and hair. No carpet so a simple swiffer mop would be so easy after each stay. Bathroom needs the same, plus more.
