We stayed at Deveron Valley Cottages as a family and absolutely loved it. The area is peaceful, quiet, and perfect for relaxing. The cottage was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. It’s a great place to disconnect and enjoy nature. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a calm and beautiful getaway.

We stayed in the Bonnie View Lodge 🥰. It was in the most beautiful setting and so peaceful. A well equipped and wonderful layout, the lodge did not disappoint. Beds comfy, kitchen well equipped. The added bonus of the river and farmland, with paths created to allow for riverside and woodland walks. Ally and Jason have thought of everything. They were the perfect hosts, available if needed but not pushy or a constant presence, We loved our chats with Jason. I would highly recommend any of these lodges and cottages. We’ll definitely be back. We were lucky to see several fly pasts of the American President and his entourage whilst he was in Scotland, travelling to and from Aberdeen and Lossiemouth.

We spent a week at Deveron Valley Cottages as a family, and it was exactly what we needed. The setting is peaceful and beautifully tucked away — perfect for slowing down and clearing your mind. The cottage itself was cosy, clean, and well-equipped, and the host made everything feel easy and welcoming from the start. Whether you’re a family looking for a quiet getaway or just someone needing a reset in nature, this place ticks all the boxes. Highly recommended — we’ll definitely be back!

The setting is beautiful. We stayed in Sunflower Cottage which is the smallest property but perfect for our needs. It was well appointed and very cozy. Could probably do with stronger lighting or some extra lamps. Ally & Jason are perfect hosts.

My three friends and I have stayed in both Swallow Cottage (2024) and Deveron Lodge (2025). We absolutely love this place, which is perfect for us (4 men on a fishing trip). Ally and Jason are very friendly and helpful. Everything we need is taken care of. We plan to return again next year and would highly recommend.

Ally and Jason have created a truly beautiful place in the Deveron Valley, with lodges and cottages of different sizes, all offering peace and privacy beside the river. Our lodge was immaculate, warm and cosy, and really well equipped. A lot of care has been put into making it a perfect holiday place. It's really well located too for visiting castles and Pictish sites, and going to the coast.

Beautiful cabin in a fantastic spot next to the river. Warm and cosy and the owners are great. Has all the equipment such as cooking and washing. Its also has a log burner and a log store to use if the weather gets chilly. If you are fishing the river is a very short walk or you can even drive to one of the beats bothy's.
