Since 9/2016 I frequently visit, 2-3 times per year, this outstanding oasis owned and run by Marija and Ivo. They both are there for any requests at any time. Always open for a chat and drink on their private terrace. They have showed me the city of Dubrovnik beside mass tourism. Every time I come they suggest some new places always hidden gems. Their apartments are at the top line of Dubrovnik, amazing sea view with outstanding room-cleanness. My personal highlight is the breakfast on their private terrace which they offer to every guest. Great location and easy access to public transport if you are not ready to climb the stairs from the old city. The host was quite accommodating, the apartments were comfortable and nicely equipped. The a/c in the bedroom could be a bit better. Maybe add a fan. I would use him again.

This is my 2nd visit to Dubrovnik where I met Ivo the first time. I returned with my son and partner and it was as fabulous as it had been 11 years previously. Dubrovnik is a special place but what really makes a truly memorable holiday is the people. Ivo and Maria are the rare genuine people who want to make your holiday special, memorable and make you comfortable at all times. The hospitality they gave us and especially my 10 year old son was fantastic. The rooms are super clean, you get fresh towels everyday, along with a brilliant breakfast and afternoon beverage. Most of all Ivo has the best knowledge, help and advice to get you to all the best places and times to suit your group. We were sad to leave and cannot wait until our next visit!

We had visited in before 8 years previously and came back this time with a 7 year old in tow. It is still a joyous and life affirming experience to stay in Ivo's apartment and spend time in the company and kindness of his wife Marija, family and friends. The other reviews cover this well so wont repeat here. The new hot tub was a lovely surprise and Ivo was generous in preparing this at short notice for my daughter to go in. The apartment was clean and air conditioning worked well. The balcony is one of my fav places to sit and chill at night. We were unsure how well it would all work for my daughter but she absolutely loved it and was devastated when we had leave, in fact we all shed a tear! A good tip for walkers is to get up early before too hot and walk up the mountain with the trail starting just behind the apartment. It is stunning at the top and the walk is fairly easy. We will return again for certain.

This is a great place to stay in Dubrovnik. Ivo, the owner, helps with everything. Day trips, restaurants, seeing the islands, visiting the wall etc. He knows how to make your vacation special. The rooms have great views of the water and the breeze is great on the hill where he's located. The breakfast was nice as is the kitchen. We even used the hot tub even though it was hot during the day. In the evening, after walking all day, it was wonderful. We will absolutely stay there again the next time we're in Dubrovnik.

We were looking on internet for a good place yo stay in Dubrovnik and found this place. After contact with the owner we went over. Great place, nice very clean appartement with brand new interior. Breakfast was good, All fresh food. Host Ivo and his wife Marija are amazing people. They told us a lot about there lovely city, country, traditions... Every morning we were sitting together on the terrace for breakfast. We came as guests and left as friends.

We recently stayed with Ivo & Maria at Apartments Baltazar in Dubrovnik and the experience was beyond exceptional! My fiancé & I have been travelling Europe for the last 2 months and Dubrovnik has been the most relaxing & amazing stay by far! This was our second visit to Dubrovnik, and our second time at this place, and I can safely say I’ll never come to this city and not stay here. Ivo is the kindest, caring, most helpful & hospitable host I have ever met while travelling. His customer service is truly old school, making sure you are in absolute comfort during your entire stay. He’s also extremely well connected, and knows just about everyone in the city, giving you a true local experience. His apartments are situated PERFECTLY just outside the city walls, a short walk through the historic streets to the old town, with the most amazing views of the city & ocean. Everything was always super clean and he was always right there if we needed help with anything. Thank you so much Ivo, and keeping with tradition, see you in roughly 5 years time!!
