As with many rural motels,Covid changed what was offered. This motel is basically a very ordinary 1960-70s establishment, that has changed little in the past 50years. No breakfast or evening meals are available, but yet the rating of the motel remains high. All rural motels need to be re-rated post COVID. This represents poor value at $225 a night.

We stayed here overnight for a friend’s funeral. First I will say the cleaning staff are amazing so helpful and very polite. Breakfast- hmm state they have when asked was told “ sorry we don’t do that anymore, McDonald’s across the road.” This should be deleted from information book. Shower base please becareful as some tiles are lose and there is creaks in wall. Overall room was clean and tidy hardly heard any traffic.

Stayed at the property from 31st August to 1st September. Conveniently located to embark on the Silo trail. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful . Great hot breakfast too. Would definitely recommend this motel to friends.

Having travelled from far North Queensland to find such a well presented, clean and well located Motel at such a reasonable price was wonderful. The shower was amazing, comfy bed and walking distance to food outlets and supermarkets highly recommend.
