I recently had a meal & drinks at the black bull with my daughter. We absolutely loved it. The new owners & staff are so friendly & it feels like a proper family pub. Sundays are fab, the roasts are delicious. A great selection of drinks at the bar. We've been coming here on & off for years. It's nice to see our local back at it's best .

I went last Sunday for a roast lunch and asked for gluten free. Sadly my lunch was much smaller than my partner's because to make it gluten free there was just several items omitted. I chatted to the Manager who is new to the Black Bull and he fully engaged with my thoughts about the meal. So, we went back today to see if they could improve the gluten free option and they certainly did. They had managed to source gluten free pigs in blankets and gave me extra rather delicious roast potatoes to compensate for the lack of Yorkshire pudding. Altogether a great meal, very good service and I'm now chilling and enjoying that lovely Sunday afternoon feeling - well done them!

Stayed for two nights bed and breakfast, with a friend, room was clean and welcoming. All the staff were friendly and smiley. Food was good especially the breakfasts which had everything, including plenty of fresh fruit. The place was very busy on New Years Eve, but we enjoyed the banter. The place was reasonably priced, overall a very good stay.
简直是人间地狱，千万别去！我们当初是看了网上的照片才订了两晚，结果真是个天大的错误！房间脏得令人作呕，潮湿、臭气熏天，地毯和墙壁上到处都是污渍，地毯破了，墙上还有洞，窗台上粘着杯子，你能想到的脏东西，这房间里都有。我们立刻开始找别的地方住。房间肯定很久没打扫过了，天知道有多久没打扫过了。吸取我们的教训，省下钱和精力，千万别订这家！

来这里吃午餐，说实话这是我们经历过的最糟糕的一次。啤酒很糟糕。葡萄酒也很糟糕。他们应该向贸易标准局报告。菜单上说三明治是用烤过的农家布鲁默面包做成的。我们实际上收到的是便宜的、超市里切的、薄而湿的白面包。鱼手指三明治上没有菜单上描述的塔塔酱。我们费了好大劲才找到裹着大量面糊的鱼。薯条不冷不热，不能吃。牛排三明治没有洋葱，菜单上也描述了这一点，而且太湿了，直接塌了。我们建议这个地区的任何人都去别处吃饭。
