Excellent stay in a lovely B and B run by two very friendly hosts Judy and Richard. Centrally located so very easy to walk into town and get to the wealth of shops, bars and restaurants. Our room was very comfortable and clean, lovely fluffy towels. Breakfast amazing and delicious. We will definitely be returning.

Warm greeting and easy check-in on arrival. Quiet road with plenty of parking, free permit supplied. Room very clean and neat. Great nights sleep in a large comfortable bed. On suite, small but spotless clean with decent hot shower and fluffy towels. Well located with restaurants, bars, shops and the conference centre,all within 5-10 minutes walk. Owners Judy and Richard really friendly and helpful with tips for restaurants and local events etc. Our tip Mykonos Greek restaurant 3 minutes away. On the subject of food the breakfast was amazing. Large choice hot and cold, (with a special mention for the home made sausages). Cooked to perfection and served with a smile. A great weekend. Will be back.

Great place to stay, within walking distance to town centre, Richard and Judy are great hosts, rooms are spotless and the full english breakfast is the best I have had.You also get free parking. This is our 2nd time here and will certainly be back. Charlie & Sandra

My husband and I returned home yesterday, after spending a couple of nights at The Welford. Judy and Richard are superb hosts and the property is beautifully maintained. Our room was so comfortable. The breakfast was amazing, freshly prepared by Judy and Richard brought our food to us in the lovely dining room. We will definitely visit again and recommend The Welford to anyone looking for a great place to stay. The Location of the property is excellent.

A great visit, breakfast beyond expectations; fresh fruit and crunchy muesli with yogurt, followed by a chouce of a great variety of hot breakfasts. Our twin room was pleasantly decorated and the ensuite was very fresh with a large shower. The beds were comfy and it was so quiet we slept soundly. Our hosts made us very welcome and helped with local knowledge and pamphlets.

We stayed for 2nights from walking in to leaving everything was brilliant.judy and Richard are great hosts and really look after you room no7 was loverly spotless clean and loverly big bed,we stayed in a few b&bs in Harrogate the breakfast here was the best,my full English and wifes omelettes you won't get any better, best B&B in Harrogate .thank you and see you again soon.

Lovely B and B ideally placed for attending Harrogate Convention Centre. Richard welcomed me to the property and did the tour. Place was spotless and bed very comfortable. Full selection of quality produce for breakfast. Only slight point was the bathroom was small but it had a great shower. And breakfast was served from 0800 which was a bit later than I would have preferred. Walking distance from station and closer still to town centre. However overall well worth 5 star review

The Welford is a lovely place and Richard and Judy are a lovely welcoming friendly couple. The Welford is close to the Convention Centre and all of the shops, restaurants and bars. This place is the best place to stay if visiting Harrogate. If needing a score of 1-10 I would give it a 100.

Just returned from a short break staying in The Welford Bed & Breakfast,Harrogate. Absolutely everything was perfect Judy and Richard have made the place perfect.The rooms are spotlessly clean and the breakfasts are the best we have had.Richards homemade sausages are delicious.Their hospitality is exceptional ,we will be back.Thankyou👍

We first stayed here in 2021 on our second Trip to stay in Yorkshire.( First time on a coach Holiday in Scarborough). Mum chose The Welford when we decided to head back for a Yorkshire holiday, she chose it randomly. But she hit the jackpot with this little gem of a place to stay. Beautiful, modern hotel, lovely rooms. Spotlessly clean, wonderful choice for breakfast. But the best part was the couple who own it. We have never met such a warm and friendly couple. We really felt like they were our friends when we left . We've been back every year since, and although it would be more convenient to stay in Leeds, we just don't want to stay anywhere else. Heading back in Oct and we can't wait! Xx 💕👍🏻
