Bathroom needs full remodel!!

Charged way to much for this room!!

We tried to check in at 5:00 pm and our room type was not clean. The staff member was unwilling to move us to a clean room type and could not give an estimate of when the room would be available. Honestly, was an employee who was not trained to provide quality customer service. We only had to wait about half an hour more but not what you want to hear at the end of a long day driving. Improve training.

Room smelled. Poor signage in halls. Sink had no hot water. Overhead light fixture was hanging open. Shower did not work. They didn’t seem at all concerned. Told us we just had to ‘really pull on the shower handle’ to get it to work. Felt like if we pulled any harder it would break off!! Did not even address the no hot water issue. offered an insincere ‘sorry’ and gave me my receipt, full charge, no credit or discount for the lack of basic service like hot water or a working shower.

Our door was left ajar when we had been gone all day and the maid went in and made one bed, did not take out trash or vacuum. There was no door sign to indicate we did not want room service.

We walked into our room and there was potato chips all over the floor with Chapstick laying on the floor. I called the front desk and told her about the situation and she says well we could move your rooms and I said I don’t even know if these beds have been cleaned if the floor has been cleaned and all she said was, I would hope so but I can’t guarantee! So we changed rooms!

It was a bed to sleep in but not much more. Maintenance has not been done for a long time and the last time they did any they painted over the dirt and grime. For as much as they charge for a room I'd expect better maintained facilities and a better breakfast.
